Keep looking forward to your holiday - work will still be there when you're back.

I have also had to put the hours in these past 2 weeks, wedding last Saturday but most hours had to go into a funeral this Thursday, ex rugby player a local pub landlord, approx 1,000 attended his service, thankfully it was family flowers only or I would not have been able to cope. I put some of the flowers on facebook, rugby ball, shirt etc. http://www.thepressnews.co.uk/NewsDetails.asp?id=6744
Still have a wedding next Saturday and a funeral Aug 2nd so probably busy right upto leaving on the 5th. I am ready for this trip:goodvibes

1,000 wow....big funeral....
the link doesn't work for me for some reason...
do you have someone in charge of the business when you're on holiday?
are there many weddings in august? or do people wait for september?

Site is down, I can't open it either now.
I used to have someone in but came back to more hassle than it was worth, I now enjoy holidays far more knowing its all closed up, thankfully I have loyal customers plus I am the cheapest in the area so people come back.
Weddings are the only part of this job I don't enjoy so more I miss in August the better:rotfl2:

Just thought I'd update you all 6 days in :)

Well I've got to say NYC exceeded all expectations! Never really been bothered about visiting the city but it was AMAZING! Radio City Apartments were absolutely ideal for a family of 5 - 2 super bedrooms and a loung with a great kitchen. Fitted so much into our 2 days ............. Top of the Rock, Empire State Building, Natural History Museum, Central Station, WTC, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and still had time for 2 hours of people watching and drinking NYC's finest Brooklyn ale.

Our flight with Virgin PE was the best we've ever taken with them - refitted PE cabin was soooo much better than the Orlando route - really couldnt fault it.

Had a upgrade to an Escalade on the trip back to JFK which would have cost far more than the mini bus we paid for ... well done to Dial 7 taxi's ... highly recommended to all.

Now in a super villa at Calabria on Westside - www.ourorlandovilla.com - thanks Shane and Louise again this far exceeds our expectations and much nicer and far more spacious than our last 4 bed villa on the Ginn Reunion.

Spent first full day by the pool then on to Aquatica yesterday - temperature never dropped beneath 91 degrees all day and topped 96 - hottest August weather for us to date.

Lazy pool morning today then on to Premium Outlets then WWOHP in the evening.

Will keep you guys updated but all going super so far ..... cliche I know but best holiday ever so far :lovestruc

Oh and almost forgot - got to say hi to an Armadillo outside the pool net on the first evening - another Florida first!

Take care guys and for those about to head this way - DONT forget your sunscreen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sharon
