Southwest opened up fares for November and December today. Booked my flight for my first trip to Disney at Christmas time (first week of December). Can't wait to see AKL and can't wait to do all the fun Christmas stuff at WDW.

It appears you are a Sox fan. They are my favorite baseball team. When I see your name I can not help but to think of one of my favorite Sox pitchers Keith Foulke. Where is your home resort and are you from IL. We will do our first flight w/ Southwest in Sept. Previous did United. Thanks for the info. I will check prices for our Dec trip.

We bought 160 pts BLT back in march, with our first trip home mothers day weekend.

Back in the day I was always partial to blackjack mcdowell, robin
Ventura and frank Thomas. But how can you wrong with anyone from the 2005 team.

In regards to southwest, just make sure you check in online the night before to get a good boarding pass to get on. And if you've never landed/taken off from midway, you are in for a treat. Short runways and the neighborhood make for some steep take offs. Quite fun!

It's great to see Frank announcing. Good to see other Sox fans on here as well! We started w/ 220 at BLT and just added 50 there. My son will be at Jambo house in Aug, we will do BCV in Sept for our first DVC visit, and we have a 2B BLT for Dec- can't wait! Without DVC, we never would have done all this. Thanks for the info on Midway/ it does make me a little nervous about the runway. Hopefully Sox will continue to stay in the lead tonight.

Yep next door Disney freak told me that Southwest opened up today and I went immediately and got my tickets. Under 2K for the 6 of us to fly down first thing in the am on Saturday and back at noon on the 30th of Nov. Very excited. Now to get the AP and we're all set

Just wanted to say "Hi" to my neighbors and fellow Sox Fans (from Tinley Park). Was at the Cross Town Classic on Saturday at Wrigley, was hoping for a Cup Sighting, but they saved that for Sunday's game! At least the Sox Won

It's fun to share with everyone while they make their plans, I am excited for each of you. I too made SW reservations today, unfortunately not for a trip to WDW but for a Cheerleading Competion in November. We are going to be at VGC next month, so at least we will get our Disney Fix

ChiSoxKeith WDW at Christmas is AWESOME you are going to be blown away. Hopefully we will be able follow in your footsteps next year!

Don't worry about the runway. It's just different from landing at O'Hare. I've flown dozens of times (if not hundreds) out of Midway.

Awesome on the 2BRT for BLT. We stayed in a 1BR Lake View on the 5th floor - sam as the Sky Bridge over to Contemporary....loved being that close and not having to take the elevator.

Thanks for reminding me! Shoot, no Rapid Rewards flights available for our return date on the Nov 14th...didn't think Nov 14th would fill up that quickly.
