It's Official!

Today was Ellie's final adoption day!! We had a nice crowd with us at the courthouse. It was very festive. The judge was very nice and we were allowed to take pictures and video it. We are very happy!! I was a little upset when we got home and I looked at the video camera and realized I did not video it like I thought, the camera was set on taking pictures not video. We did take a few pictures and we had a friend who took pictures of the whole thing so she will give us copies.

DP Cindy is now legal parent. We will now look into do a second parent adoption, probably in NJ.

Yes, that's exactly how we felt. I asked DP yesterday now what are you going to worry about?

Happy Forever Family Day, Ellie (and Mommies!)

I got teary looking at your beautiful daughter. Every child deserves to be so loved!

We celebrate our daughters' forever family day every year with a dinner at the restaurant of their choice, then we look at pictures of their adoptions. It is such a special day and deserves to be celebrated!
