I am not even 30 yet and this will be my 4th house!!!
OK, now I don't remember if I have gone into detail here about how many times we have moved. Since DH and I met we have lived in 6 different places.
All our family and friends think we are nuts. We love it actually. Mostly because of the huge profit we have made from these houses. We have built a home, bought a foreclosed townhouse and gutted it.(DH did all the work himself and now has his own home improvement business)and the house we live in now, a home built in 1939. Very charming with tons of character. All these houses in just 3 years!!
Anyway, if you all remember my concern with possibly a funeral home coming across the street, it got DH and I thinking of moving again. As if we needed an excuse!
We knew when we bought this house it wouldn't be forever, we don't think of anything as forever!LOL So, we talked to our DD and she just wants to stay in the same school. Well, there is a new development literally 1 mile away. The realtor is an old friend of DH and we loved the development, the location, the houses offered and the price wasn't bad either! We picked our lot, #24, corner lot of a cul-de-sac.
So, we're building a house!!! Not sure how long we'll stay. That will depend on alot of things. It should be ready in the spring of 2005. It gives us time to settle things with this house.
I'm a SAHM and I don't want a huge house to clean!! It's just us and the 2 kids and no more coming so only 3 bedrooms for me! It was hard picking out what model home we wanted because we liked all that were offered. The only thing is there are so many desisions to make like cabinets, tiles, flooring, etc, etc....
I just wanted to share my excitement with you all!!
