Okay technically it's not official until we purchase some flights and book hotel and tickets etc...but we have decided to go back with the grandparents in the Fall.

I can't believe we're going back. Never have we gone 2x in one yr. Gosh we've never even gone 2 yrs in a row. This will be amazing. To throw a wrench in things my MIL wants to go to Universal too. Not a bad situation to have except I've never been there and will feel like all those poor people who come to the DIS desperate, looking for the best way to get their bang for their buck out of Disney. Now I'll need to go to the Universal boards and figure it all out before we go.

We're thinking of the Coronado Springs this time since we've never stayed there. Wow another trip to plan :cool1:

Congrats!! :goodvibes This is a big Disney year for us as well. 3 trips in one year for us. And like you, we'd never even gone two years in a row before!! :earseek: It's so much fun! But I have to say, the more we go, the more we WANT to go. It's addictive! :earseek:

Have fun with your planning! :wizard:

How exciting for all of you.

We have stayed at Coronado Springs. We really enjoyed and I would definately go back there.

We went to Universal last year. It was okay. I noticed right away it is not as clean and there is no "magic in the air". We had our DS's (7 & 5) and I pretty much stayed in the Nicktoon area with them. We tried Twister and were in line and ready to go in and I had to leave with them. DH stayed and said it was good. What made the kids upset is they have TV's up in line showing storms and tornados and the kids got afraid. My DH also did Mummy and Terminator. Said that they were all good. The rest of the park we tried but every line was over an hour wait. We did wait the hour for Shrek 3-D and it was worth the wait. We ate at Jimmy Buffet's restaurant and the food was so good. The Universal boards are a great help in fact that is how I found out about the food. One other thing, if you are a member of AAA, everything including food is 10% off. That was nice. We saved a bit of money that we used over at WDW.

Hope this helps. Have a great trip. :flower:

I totally agree. This will be our 3rd trip in year in July too. And somehow, the time that passes between each of these trips feel like forever.

I am already looking forward to planning my next trip and I haven't even left yet!

Have fun planning....it's one of the great things that keeps you in a Disney frame of mind.

Thanks for your tips. We are going with the grandparents my hubby, myself and our 2 DD 7 and 4. They are thrill seekers but not sure about the height restrictions. Time to do some serious research I guess. Any recommendations on US vs IoA. I think we only have time for 1 day
