I took the plunge today and registered for the Tower of Terror 5K in October. I have a good 50 lbs to lose even though I'm active (very long story) and thought this would be great motivation. My sisters are doing it too..
I have never run before and started Couch to 5K last week. I mapped out a 3 mile loop around my house so I do the 20 minutes of intervals with the C25K and then I walk the rest. So far I'm a little over a 18 min. mile so I have some work to do. But I have time so I think I can do it...
Any advice, suggestions...
