This will be my 4th trip, my dh (26) and dd(just made 2) first to disney. My mom and dad (55yr) will be coming along also. This is thier 5th trip. We will be on the dining plan oop my parents treat. For us not to worry.

My parents and i have only stayed on site once and did qs dining plan once, so this is all still kinda new to us. My daughter loves all things disney, especially anna, doc, sofia, jake, minnie, daisy, belle, the Beast, ariel, and Cinderella. Of course as well as knowing the names of all princesses and thier prince as well.

Our taste in food is simple. Not gourmet at all. American, chinese, mexican, italian, its all good, but garnishes and fancy is not our thing. I am big on desert, but everyone else not so much. 2yr old princess can eat, but only off your plate, so that wont be a problem.

We have 5 days/nights. 1 day each park, 1 in dtd. With 1 qs,1ts, 1 snack per person. Daughter not included. No park hopper.

So far the plan was:
Hoopdee doo: Wanted to go last trip, but couldnt book it. Would be on dtd or animal kingdom day.

Princess breakfast in norway,
Be Our Guest supper or lunch ? : to see beast for dd if possible
If not will do lunch? Which one?

Unsure about others need suggestions. Would be open to a resort option too? I cant decide?

Only looking for ts opinions please. And if bog is really worth the supper or if i should book lunch when we can,
Thanks in advance.

Since you have a Disney junior fan breakfast at H&V might be fun. I think BOG only has Beast for dinner, so I'd recommend trying for that over lunch. It may be hard to get, though. There were no dinner spots available at my 180 + 10 even when checking right at 6 AM.

Lunch or dinner at BOG, it really depends on the rest of your dining plans I think, 1900 Park Fare dinner if she's a big Cinderella fan (does she love the movie or just the princess? If it's just Cindy then do a princess meal, though I would pick Cinderella's Royal Table over Akershus for a Cinderella fan), H&V with the Disney Jr. characters as PP suggested, and the Hoop Dee Doo is great fun. The 4pm show isn't as popular a time and is less crowded so there's more cast interaction, imo.

We haven't been a couple of years (going again this November), but based on the trip we did with my DD at 5 and DS at 2 here's my two cents...

#1. Know if she's afraid of characters and prepare accordingly! My daughter was terrified of every character from ages 2-5. She actually hid under the table at Tusker house when Mickey came by. She LOVED the princesses, just not the characters. We knew it ahead of time, so it was mostly funny (great pic of Mickey waving while she was under that table) but would have been frustrating if we hadn't known.

#2. Don't plan to spend the whole day at the park! Either do park morning, leave by 2ish and plan for a character dinner. Or do a character breakfast in the morning, then park in the afternoon/evening for the fireworks show. Our biggest mistake was the day we did park opening to park closing. We were all miserable.

At your DD age, I wouldn't worry too much about which specific meal. She won't know the difference between Cinderella's palace and 1900 Park Fare. Or Chef Mickey's vs. Tusker house. Just hit each category of characters and pick the spot that works best for your park schedule.

Based on all that, for your 5 dining credits I'd suggest:

2 credits - HDDR either 4:30pm or 6pm show
1 credit - Princess meal: 1900 Park Fare at GF or Akershus... CRT is 2 credits so personally I'd only go there if it's a high priority for you since your DD probably won't remember ;)
1 credit - Hollywood and Vine at breakfast or lunch for the Disney Jr. character (characters are not at dinner)
1 credit - Mickey and Friends meal: Chef Mickeys, Tusker House
0 credit - BOG lunch

And here's the link to a great guide to the character meals.

Dd honestly loves the whole move cinderella, her fav would have to be the mice, but she loves all princesses too. i am planning another trip in. A few years when she is older. And can remember crt :)

I'm thinking tusker house lunch, and. H&v brunch, since we re doing the princess breakfast. And the 6pm hdd sounds good for our dtd day. Thanks guys. Good mix of characters and food. Be out guest lunch for sure save a credit and she will see the castle.

She likes characters from far away. If they touch her in costume, she freezes, and pouts but doesnt cry. If they step away she laughs and talks to them. Go to touch her and she freezes. Lol. My parents Found that out by chuck e cheese. But mickey or minnie or doc, may be different as she knows who they are?

Yay for a Disney trip! Planning the dining is my favorite part, haha :)

I love all of your options!

Princess Breakfast at Akershus would be a great one. We loved Tusker House for breakfast! And I'm sure she would love Hollywood and Vine since she loves Sofia and Doc.

That takes care of 3 Table Service.. could always do Be Our Guest as a dinner. Also, Hoop de Doo is 2 TS credits I think!?

We liked dinner at Be Our Guest but we liked lunch even more. Since it's her first time meeting the Beast and he's only at dinner, maybe that would be a better option!?

You have some great options here!! Other favorites of ours are Ohana, Via Napoli (pizza.. yummm), and Beaches and Cream (probably not worth a TS credit, but it was good all American food and the ice cream was fantastic).
