We are officially out a month today so I thought it would be a good time to start a pre-trip report. I guess it is best to start with the cast:

Me :tinker: -- Sam, 19 year old Disney freak. I love anything and everything Disney. I have been to Disney World more times than I could count.

DBF :stitch: -- Cory, 20 year old kinda Disney freak. He has started to love Disney more and more since we have been together. He didn't go to Disney World a lot as a child. Now that we are together though we have been many times.

Us-- Here is what your lovely cast looks like:
At MNSSHP

At Pirate and Princess Party

Our History
We met when we both went to the same privateish high school. Ever since then we have been dating. We went to Tampa for college together, and came back to Jersey for college together. We have been together for more than 4 1/2 years  . Our real Anniversary is actually Feb 29th, Leap Year, so we have made it March 1st. Even though we are going in Jan, it is still close and we are making it our almost 5th anniversary trip.

Our Disney History
Our first trip to Disney was with his family for two days. Then we saved up all of our money, $4,000 :scared1: , after we graduated high school and took our first solo trip together in Summer '07. You can see that trip report in my signature. We had a blast! The best Disney trip I ever took  . Then we went to school and Tampa and had annual passes. Needless to say we went like every other weekend :rolleyes1 , for MNSSHP and Pirate/Princess, and just for day or weekend trips. Basically when I call Disney Dining they say, "Oh I see you've been here 56 times?" :rotfl: . Now though we transfered back home to Jersey and don't get our Disney fix as often. That is why we are going in Jan.

:) Next up: Why are we going in Jan? And our itinerary.:yay:

I'm hoping to see some posts to make me carry this report on :goodvibes but for now I will continue...

The History of this trip
My mom told me that she would give me $1000 to go on vacation. Of course my mind went right to Disney World. So we were going to go this week actually and do the free dining. Unfortunetly though this is our finals week for our college. All of our teachers were going to let us do our finals ahead of time., except for my DBF's physics teacher. So, still disappointed we found that we could just go in Jan. Not as good because we weren't getting free dining. Anyway we were then going Jan 6-10 at Pop with Deluxe Dining. Then the 4/3 Deal came out. It took a while for DBF to decide that he wanted to do the deal and go the extra time, meaning we couldn't get the time that we were going. We had to change our ressie to Jan 10-17 at Coronado with Deluxe Dining. So It turned out better but costing more. Luckily my mom is the most wonderful mother in the world and is paying for all of it!

Our Itinerary

Ok here is our itinerary. for the first time I have not picked exactly which parks to go to each day. We do however have our dining ressies. I also called Disney Dining about putting that it was our anniversary on the ressie and she put it on all of them!

Yeah, I get to be first.

We ate at many of the same places on our trip a few weeks ago and I have started my DR which is how I found your PTR. I am working on the reviews but if you have any questions, let me know.

Wow, I feel stuffed just reading those dining plans. That is definitely how you do deluxe dining! Are you going to have a car to drive to some of your breakfasts? It looks like you'll have to spend lots of time transporting yourself for meals.

Janloz--Yay! Great to see you're interested in my report. And I will def. ask you any questions I have so be prepared! lol :lmao:

Kayla87--Thanks for joining onto my report!:goodvibes No we won't have a car, we will be using Disney Transportation. It is going to be tough and def waste time but we've done Disney enough to spend a little more time eating lol And yes we will be stuffed to the gills with food!! :cool1:

Small Update: I just picked up all of my paperwork from AAA! The coupon book thing is really nice, and tucked neatly inside that is my $200 gift card voucher :cool1: Also there was a card with 30 mins of free gameplay on it for any Disney Resort arcade which I hadn't known about. Not much longer :goodvibes

Well not so much an update on the trip but I am finally finished with the semester :dance3: :dance3: :cheer2: :yay: :cool1:
That means Disney is getting closer and closer :woohoo:

Also I am hoping having a lot of romantic places to eat will inspire my DBF if you all know what I mean :lovestruc lol

Enjoying your pre-trip report. You two are very cute together. Hope you enjoy CSR as much as we do--it's our favorite (we've stayed seven times).

KatMark--Aw thank you so much that is really sweet of you to say about us :) Glad to hear you are enjoying the report and that you have really enjoyed CSR. Neither of us have stayed there before but we did eat at Maya Grill and we really liked the look of it.

chrisisbuckwild-- thank you soo much for your kind words! I'm glad you are ready to tag along.

I apologize that I hadn't updated in a while. I am currently in the Orlando airport waiting for my plane to return home :( It was a wonderful vacation with lots of fun and exciting things. I tried to write down every night what we did each day so we'll see how it goes lol. So for now I leave you all in suspense. Except to say that there is quite the report coming up!!

Yay another reader and from NJ also!

Right now I am in the process of moving into my dorm room for the new semester so things are a little hectic but I will hopefully update tomorrow. Because you have all been so loyal and patient, here are a few teaser photos.

Hi Everyone!

I know I promised an update ages ago but things have gotten a little nutty. School is consuming my free time which I would usually use to be here, writing. Also my grandfather has been in the hospital for a little over a month now, and it is any day now that he may pass. I don't mean to bring down this thread but I want you all to know that I will be continuing shortly and that I am sorry for the lack of posts. Hopefully I can get it started tonight.

Thanks everyone for understanding and sticking with me! :flower3:

No problem...sorry I was such a both--I'll be praying for you and your family

Thank you for your kind words. My grandfather passed last night around 6:30. Hopefully I will be able to write something to keep my mind off of what is happening around me.

I'm sorry about what happen to your grandfather. Don't worry, we will be waiting the continuation of your report any time your available. :thumbsup2

Hey everyone. Thank you for all the very nice comments recently. I really appreciate it. I'm still out of sorts and I wish I could just curl up in a ball. So instead of doing that I am going to start my report, finally. I apologize in advance because I forgot a lot of what we exactly did but I will try my best. So here is Day One!

We had our flight at around 6:30 AM on Saturday Jan. 10th. This meant that we had to leave my house at around 3:45 AM. Cory had to work the night before up by school which is about 1 1/2 hours from my house. He didn't get done working until 11:00, drove to his house, picked up his stuff and arrived at my house at 3:15. I drove the car down with Cory in the passenger seat and my dad in the back. Cory slept the way down to AC airport. We got there and got on our flight without having to wait to long.

Once we got on, Cory fell asleep almost instantly. We tried to sleep the whole flight but it isn't easy when you are tall people in those little Spirit seats. We arrived in MCO around 8:30 and made our way to the Magical Express counter. It wasn't busy and before we knew it we were on the bus! There were only maybe 6 other people on the bus with us. We made a few stops and finally pulled up to Coronado Springs at around 9:30 :cool1: !!

We were very excited and very very tired. We checked in and dropped our bags off at the bell services thing. Besides our reservations I hadn't planned which parks we would go to each day like I usually do. So I asked Cory where he wanted to go and he chose Animal Kingdom.

We arrived at the AK around 10:30 and it wasn't very crowded.

On our way in we spotted a few characters outside the gates including Governor Radcliffe whom we had never met.
DisneyDay1-2003.jpg

He was "meh" and not very exciting. We got inside and decided to FP Everest. On our way we realized how hungry we were. We got popcorn using a snack credit and watched the monkeys near Everest.
DisneyDay1-2011.jpg

After enjoying our popcorn we went to wait in line for the Safari. It wasn't along wait and we wasted time by taking pictures.

And because I have to cut this short to write a paper :sad1: I will leave you with some pictures from the Safari.
