Very excited, 8 more sleeps and we will be away, can't wait.

DS is just under 3 but I have auberge booked one day for lunch. Do we need to pay for him at this? Not too bothered about other places as he will just eat a side dish or share ours but don't fancy spending 50 euros or so on his lunch in auberge for him not to eat it.
We are staying hny for 6 nights, did i mention were are excited!

Not a clue on your auberge question but :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :cool1: for 8 days to go!

When we took our DD last feb she's wasn't 3 yet and we just asked for the under 3 menu - usually chips and a drink in most places some more like cafe Mickey was a full children's meal for free, and buffets were also free. I would just ask for the under 3 menu and you should be fine as you do not have to pay for under 3.
And woohoo not long - excited for you!

Thanks so much to you all, that's great to know we don't have to pay for him. Will make a big difference ESP at auberge.
This time next week we will be nearly there.

Under 3s are advertised as eating for free, however you need to be aware that what you receive varies wildly by restaurant and who serves you. We went in November and my daughter ate free in inventions (great as a buffet), in blue lagoon she was offered a plate of chips & she could 'eat from my plate' and in cafe mickey I was told she could have a jar of baby food. My daughter is almost two and big for her age so to be honest I was disgusted with that. Even the waiter was embarrassed and when I contacted Disney to complain they didn't seem particularly bothered. My main gripe was I had bought half board and told that my rd would eat free when in reality she had to eat from my plate. As a company that caters for children of all ages they should have more options for the smallies. Paying for the full children's menu in cafe mickey for my dd would have been a waste but she would have finished the main course.

Got carried away there didn't I! Anyway just to warn you, your little one will be free in table/buffet service but don't necessarily expect to get a meal for him.

Have a great time though!!
