Its Here!!! $2 Tanks from Old Navy

I just saw the commercial. $2 womens and girls tanks this Saturday only. I have been waiting for this since it first started to get warm. I have been holding out on buying tanks until this sale.

Last week, they did the flip flops online, but were a bit more than 1.00 and you do have shipping.

With the flip flops, I read that you could buy them during the week before, then go on Saturday to get the price adjustement. I went on Thursday and got two pairs. On Saturday afternoon, I went back and the store was nearly empty - of customers and flip flops! LOL I showed my receipt to a cashier and they gave me the difference back in cash.

Maybe it would work the same way for the tops? Couldn't hurt to call and ask!

I just read there is a limit 5 per person. My ON opens at 7 am.

Are they normal ON quality or are they worse than normal? I don't want to go buy them and then have them fall apart after the first wash.

I went last year at about 11 and they were sold out of every tank top in the store. I thought it was ridicualous to have such a sale and not carry extra quanities of them. The girl told me the sale was to get rid of the mfor the summer, but another style may be coming in later. I didn't go back. I was disgusted. I did buy a few about 2 weeks ago. They were $6 each. (1st time I went back since last year). $6 was a good enough price for me and I didn't fight crowds and got my choice of colors.

we went today about 2 hours after it opened, it wasn't crowded and there was still a really good selection of tanks left(both sizes and colors). Also basic tees (at least women's at ours) were $6 (normally $12.50) and I LOVE those so I grabbed a few new ones of those as well. I got 3 tanks and 2 tees for $19.

I went today, around 2 or so. All the regular tanks were sold out except for white XXL ones. I went back to the maternity section and they had a TON. I got my 5, plus two pairs of flipflops for 15 bucks including tax. Not bad at all

I went right at 7 am. The line was about a block long. I got my five tanks! Flip flops at my old navy were on sale for $2 each so I bought a few pairs of those also

We must have the quietest Old Navy in the country. On Flip Flop Saturday there were only about 6 of us in line at 6:55 when they let us in. Today we got there at about 6:50.....nobody....literally nobody......we were first. A few more people showed up just at 7:00 when they opened the doors. We picked out ours and left. I went back at 10:45 am, I had some shorts to exchange and had forgotten them in the morning. There was a regular crowd, still a lot of tank tops to choose from although some of the patterns from the morning were gone. We did great, got tons for the summer and our Disney trip in August.
