It's getting real now...

I posted a couple of weeks ago that my dd's bf Titus had received his deployment orders. I have dreaded him leaving ever since (I know we have to send our soldiers over but so many of them seem like little boys to me). It became very real when I walked into the living room this morning and it was filled with Titus' personal belonginngs that he is leaving here until he gets back. I can only imagine how his mother must feel right now.
Actually he was supposed to have left yesterday morning but they ended up holding back about a third of his company and he was one of them. Now he is leaving tomorrow morning. I intend to take a few pics tomorrow morning so I'll post them after we get back from the base.

They've told Titus his final destination is Iraq and that he'll be landing in Kuwait and spending a day or two there first.
