I am pregnant!!! I will be about 15 weeks when we go. We are thinking that we should tell the inlaws then! So how would you do it? I was thinking tshirts with us as mickey heads and using a stick figure thats prego as me...but what else?

What about getting them a picture frame and inside the frame put a piece of paper that says "reserved for baby (last name) Due (due date)" and give it to them in front of Cinderella's castle??

What about a cake at a restaurant?? Maybe they can write a message on it. Or you could have something delivered to the rooms. Maybe a Disney picture frame with a picture of the ultrasound in it. Good luck!!! Let us know what you decide and Congrats on the baby!!

I ordered "big Sister in training" and " I've got a secert, I'm going to be a big sister" T-shirt for DD. I put them on her and waited to see how long it was before my DH family figured it out. DNiece 6 at the time figured it out before the adults, I think the comments was to her mom " HEY, Look at AmyMae's T-shirt, is that a joke?" The reaction was awesome and priceless.

:rotfl:

Are you bringing a digital camera with you?

If you are, make a big sign that says, "We're pregnant!" on it and smuggle it into the park with you. (Even if you have to fold it.) When you have a moment when the inlaws aren't around, have someone take a picture of you and your DH holding the sign. Then throw the sign away. At the end of the day, take a moment to "review" the pics from the day. See how long it takes them to catch it!

We did something like this with our first pregnancy, only we were at this beautiful scenic overlook at Mt. Rainier in Washington state. We got such a kick out of showing everyone the "pics from our trip." What a hoot! And it's so fun to look at that pic . . .

Congratulations!!! Enjoy spreading the news, however you choose to do it!

Oh wow! That's a great idea! :thumbsup2

Ooops, I forgot the most important part. Congratulations OP!!! Here's to a healthy and happy pregnancy for you and baby!

OP- maybe you can get a button that says you're celebrating an expected baby? Or you could list it as your celebration reason on your ressies, then when soemone congratuates you, you can surprise your family?

I think if it were me maybe I'd just find a quiet moment to break the news :goodvibes

Congratulations to you and your DH, that is wonderful news!

I told my parents that I was expecting last fall at Epcot. I wanted to do something grand or clever but ended up just telling them right before Illuminations. (It was a last minute trip and I met them in WDW that day.) Now they'll always associate Illuminations with DD and joy.

We just got back from Disney (I was 9 weeks when we were there...), and we were planning on surprising my sister, BIL & niece & nephew during Wishes the first night we were there, but we couldn't wait that long!

So, what we did instead was, during a pre-trip planning get-together, DH asked my nephew what rides he was looking forward to riding (knowing full well he was going to say one of the "no-no" rides for PG people). When he said Expedition Everest, I said, "Oh, it's a bummer I won't be able to go on that with you this year..." When my sister said "why?", I said "Well, my doctor doesn't advise it.", my sister said "WHY?!?!?" and I said "I'm pregnant!!!" (much crying and laughing and hugging ensued.)

Anyway, however you tell them, I want to say CONGRATS!!!

Oh congrats!

I have not surprised anyone before but I think I would probably get them shirts that say "I am gonna be a grandma!" or something and present them to your in-laws in the hotel or perhaps at the Castle..

Stay healthy and have fun!
