It's been forever! Brainstorming for a 9 person and two dog trip.

We wanted to go to back to The Fort in 2022 but didn't make it. Now we are looking at a 2027 for a 50th/50th/50th/20th/16th LOL. My in-law 50th, hubby 50th, Star Wars 50th, plus my girls will be celebrating 20 and 16. (and the boys will be 14/15 or 12/13 and 10 so we will figure something for them to celebrate.

My in-laws are camping there in May hopefully so they will get a feel for The Fort after last staying there in the 80s.

We sold our little hybrid camper to pay for a 2 week road trip to see the 100th Pony Swim at Chincoteague so we may be in a cabin this time around unless we get a replacement by then.
So I am back to planning mode haha!
I looked into renting a camper but it seems the cabins may end up cheaper depending on when we book.

I ALSO imagine we may have 2 more tagging along as my husband's Uncle goes yearly to Disney and has been wanting a family trip forever.

The inlaws are going this year the first week in June- (school breaks ugh). Part of me is hoping it is so dang hot they decide to never go in Summer again and we can talk them into Jan/Feb.

Of course the weather this year is so odd that it may be nice and coolish and delightful.

We KNOW we will all be staying at The Fort.
2 Full Size sites. If we have not bought a replacement camper by then and are still rocking the mini van, we will likely rent, depending on the price when we go. With current prices, it is still cheaper for us to get a site and rent than it is to stay at the cabins, and we potentially could get side by side sites.

The logistics of parks with 9 will be interesting for sure, plus we have 2 that won't ride all the thrill rides. We are trying our best to avoid using LL to save $$$. We may make an exception for HS-again dependent on the time we go.
