It's been a long time

I had a lot of problems with my dh, some of which are on record here on the dis. I moved out to reunite to my ex dh, and it did NOT work out.

I am very grateful that my dh was willing to take me back. I'm going to work very hard to make amends to everyone I've hurt.

I've been very self absorbed for the past year, and I regret every moment. I haven't posted here very often recently, but am getting my old life back.

so sorry for bowing out of our wonderful convos, and I promise to be back to my old self.

we are planning a trip to the World the week before July 4th. My dd14 is a Jr. Tamburitzan and their festival is there that weekend.

Would it be better to go the week before the 4th, or after?

We were there July 1 - July 8 this past summer. It definitely became more crowded AFTER the 4th BUT we also had a LOT of rain from about the 1st to the 5th so that could've had something to do with it.

We were there the week leading up to and after the 4th in 2008, and the crowds were def. worse than the week before.

I was there for several days leading up to the 4th year before last. Crowds weren't too bad. On the 4th Epcot was packed and they were even setting up trailers with extra restrooms so I think they expected really heavy crowds that night. We left on the 5th so I don't know how the crowds were afterwards, but I'd definitely go before the 4th again. We stayed out of the parks on the evening of the 4th and went to a local outdoor concert and fireworks display, so we didn't have to deal with the heaviest crowds that day.
