We have this awesome Lebanese bakery in the city and as a kid I used to call them Lesbian meat pies.... I had no clue what a Lesbian was at the time and nobody ever corrected me (I think they found it too amusing)!

On a random side note, I jsut got back from my trip to DC, and I went to the Holocaust museum again. It's not that I like to go there, I go there with people who think the Holocaust just involved the Jewish Community, they didn't know it involved homosexuals, more gay men than lesbian women because of a paragraph in German law that outlined "gay" activity and it involved mostly male-male intercourse.
Also, for those that don't know, now you will, that's where the Pink Triangle came from that we use today as a symbol of gay pride. Here's a couple of links on those things.

I have to say that, though many things make me just giggle out loud to myself, few make me just LAUGH. And the words "Lesbian Meat Pie" just made me laugh...with visuals.
