It's Aug 27th

Heather, We are on the 1:45pm (mco to pvd). I thought we may as well have breakfast at WDW!;) My DS will miss that Monday of school anyway! But I just checked Friday the 15th again and it is ALL BLOCKED except for the $239. fares! I am SO GLAD I stayed by the computer!! We will be at WLV and then at BCV. Joan

Joan - Too funny....I think we were on pretty much the same travel schedule last Feb. vacation.

This year we are actually doing a cruise that week...but I plan on sneaking in a couple days before at Disney. That's why we are leaving on the 13th. Ship doesn't sail til the
17th, so I'll have time to visit Mickey.

Have an awesome time and enjoy a hearty breakfast!!

I'm flying out of BWI into MCO - my date going down is Jan 17th but there's no one way internet fare available. Can I just book my Flight from MCO back to BWI? It's a special of $69. Will any problems arise by just booking one way instead of round trip? Thanks!

Forgot to add I'm coming back into BWI on the 23rd.

I also have ticketless funds from a LUV voucher to apply. Can I apply them to a one way portion and part of the other?

Me and my DH needed tickets into Fort Lauderdale for a cruise we are taking to celebrate our 40th birthdays:) I was able to go NS from Midway to Fort Lauderdale round trip for $321.00!! Now next time I will be paying much more because I will need four tickets going to Orlando for spring break March 29-April 6, 2008. I just told my DH whatever we just saved we will be giving back to SW for our next trip:)

SAMEFAY - Yes to both questions. You can book nonstops one way without a problem and use your credits to pay for them.

If you are unsure about using the credit, just call SW...get a rep on the line and have them walk you through how to do it on your computer. Done this several times in the past and never had a problem.

Good luck.

Holy freakin crowbared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What happen to some $99 fares? Has anyone seen this before?
Chris

Just returned home from work and boy what a busy day you guys had, waiting all morning and early afternoon for SW to extend there dates. I just checked our flights and I'm going to wait a couple more days and hopefully the $108 OW fare will come down. We're flying out of BWI, last year we flew for $100 RT. I'm going to keep looking for a lower fare, send some pixie dust my way. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I just wish it was 108 for my flight down. The lowest fare offered from Nashville to mco for 2/29 was 143 plus tax!! WOW. I will not book this. I am going to wait it out. I may even drive down at that price.....:scared1:

When I put in the RT fares, it all of a sudden gave me $89 down - meaning SWA is not liking the ONE WAY fares anymore!

That would be great if I could get RT tickets. My return date isn't available yet and if I wait until October, there may not be seats left at all. I am on the only nonstop to Orlando out of PHX that day. :)

Claroquesi--A R/T from Providence to LA with a layover/change-of-planes in Chicago on Southwest isn't all that unusual; their other major hubs for coast-to-coast travel (Nashville/Las Vegas/Phoenix) certainly have much better weather in February that Chicago does, but that's the way it goes sometimes, since they've eliminated all of their coast-to-coast non-stops, or will have done so by the end of this year.

I hope that I don't get my internet priveleges revoked after today's fiasco. I seriously checked every 10-15 minutes until they finally opened around 1:45 and even at that, I booked the cheapest flights possible and only got $165 each way, for SW!!!!! Do you know why? It is NH school vacation week and they know it. I went to Jet Blue and they were cheaper flying down, so I booked Jet Blue Boston to Orlando ($124 each) and Southwest Orlando to Manchester, NH ($165 each). Since DH is driving us to the airport, I asked him first and he said he doesn't mind driving to Boston. I hope that I did not make a bad call. I seriously have never spent that much on a WDW flight. Usually $200 RT is my max, this one cost me $310 RT EACH. I booked it because I promised my parents I would take the kids to visit them in Florida during their school vacation week. Oh well, I have to look at it this way, at least my accomodations are free since we are staying with my parents.

Also booked with SW today after about 6 checks to website. $308.80 R/T from New Orleans because it's Mardi Gras & kids (and teachers) are out of school.

Thanks Heather! Enjoy your CRUISE!!! Last February(14) we were supposed to leave PVD(on SWA) in the morning but our flight was cancelled, terrible icing and VERY:cold:. We were rebooked on the last flight out of PVD that night and sent our luggage on the 12:30pm(in case we got on standby). We waited at the airport all day and about 1 hour before our flight they CLOSED the airport. So home we went, got a few hours sleep and were back at the airport around 5am! We were still on the standby list from the day before and we got on the 1st flight out that morning with SWA! I am HOPING for much better weather this time around! Joan
