I spent a good part of the day crushing my dried basil. I have so much I didn't know what else to do with it since I didn't want to make pesto like last year.
Why not? It is a good way to keep basil....

Of course! Makes perfect sense to me now. I'm wiping the egg off my face because I didn't figure it out earlier! My bad! 
Definitely not an Asian thing!
