It's almost RECITAL TIME again!

So, here's a little mini-survey for all the dancers on the DIS:

What is your studio's name? Danceology
When is your recital? June 6
Where is your recital usually held? RIC!
What classes do you take? Tap, but in previous years, Ballet and Jazz (only had time for Tap this year)
What type of dance is your favorite? Tap, and Broadway-style. I also enjoy Lyrical.
What do you usually recieve on Recital night? Flowers!
Do you have any post-Recital traditions? Usually dessert somewhere!
Does your studio have a competing team? Yepp!
If yes, are you on it? Nope.

Do you firmly believe that dance is a sport? Absoultely so!

i dont want to tell you in case you look it up, but its for irish dance
When is your recital?
we dont really have a recital, but we do have a big party/show, and its called a ceili. its pretty traditional when it comes to ireland. its normally sometime in february
Where is your recital usually held?
the irish-american club
What classes do you take?
irish dance...
What type of dance is your favorite?
irish dance, of course
What do you usually recieve on Recital night?
uhm..nothing...
Do you have any post-Recital traditions?
does sleeping in the morning afterwards count?

yes
If yes, are you on it?
not this year, but i should be next year!

Do you firmly believe that dance is a sport?
well, the dictionary definition of a sport is an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature. seeing as dance fits all of these requirements, of course its a sport!

Where is your recital usually held? The middle school auditorium.

Do you have any post-recital traditions? We go to pizza hut with our makeup and hair all done. We get stared at the whole time. It's great.

Ok I know this is really random and all but can you all please wish me luck i'm checking out another studio tommorrow as were moving in June and I was invited to come check out the competitive program tommorrow and i'm really nervous and all about it as I couldnt make try outs as I was on Band Tour last week end so she just wanted me to come to a practice and check it out... and I'm really nervous about it, it's supposely more low key than the program i'm in right now but still I just want to do my best tommorrow so can you all wish me the best of luck as this is a turning point in my dance career Katie
