It's a Small World merchandise for kids?

My niece is having an It's a Small World birthday party in a couple weeks then we'll all be heading to Disneyland a few days later. I was wondering what kind of Small World merchandise they have for kids (5yo) in the parks right now. I don't want to promise her a gift if it doesn't exist.

Bonus points if anyone knows if or what kind of merchandise they still have for Up! and Big Hero 6. Can you still meet those characters?

Thank you DISers!

They aren't doing a character meet for Hiro or Baymax anymore, unfortunately, and I didn't find any merchandise in the parks. I was bummed and did a ton of research to see if my kiddo could meet Baymax before we went last week, but I read somewhere that they stopped the character meets for those characters in the winter. I did find a Baymax plush toy at the Disney store online, but that's all. They had some Baymax pins that were cute. The Animation Academy was doing drawings of Baymax on Wednesday afternoon. We missed that one and came back later to draw Phineas and Ferb.

To my knowledge, there aren't any character meets for Up either. There are some Up pins, but that's about it. I think I did see some shirts in the park that had the "Adventure is out there" tagline on them.

They do have a giftshop right outside of IASW. There are pins, mugs, and they have a poster set (which I totally bought) that includes posters of the original 1955 rides including IASW. In one of the shops, they had some Precious Moments dolls that were styled after the children of the world from IASW. Those were super cute.

I didn't see very much IASW stuff for sale. Just a small display of a few shelves of items in the store at the exit of IASW.

We bought our daughter a cute IASW book- it was at DCA in the gift store near the Animation Academy.

If you do the wilderness challenge in DCA, at the end of the ceremony you can meet russel.
not sure about in the parks, butat the disney store i have seen IASW plush such as the hippo, as well as some nice books.

As mentioned, the shop at the end of the IaSW attraction is going to be your best bet. They have some clothes, some books, and some toys. Disneyland's Today's twitter feed had a few photos:

In terms of Up and Big Hero 6 merchandise, aside from a few random items, there really isn't a lot left in the parks. The Star Traders is your best bet for BH6 items. Mostly, I recall seeing pins, but not much else.

Russell and Doug from Up can be met at the Redwood Creek area in DCA. Big Hero 6 characters are no longer in the parks. They probably have merch for BH6 at the World of Disney in DTD but I dont know of anything specific.

I know the iasm store had a limited number of shirts and bags when i was there last Friday. Their selection isn't as good as in the past unfortunately.

I love Dug!! I was more excited than the kids to see him! He was at the Wilderness Creek in DCA when we were there in June. I didn't pay too much attention to merchandise, but I did see lots of Baymax balloons when we were there, so at least she could get that.

I agree with everyone else about IASW store at the exit. I remember seeing books that played the song (the kind where you push the sound along with the story), cds of the soundtrack, shirts, and I think a couple little dolls that looked like the ones in the ride.

I also saw some diningware at a few stores. Just usually a picture on a mug or plate though. Nothing that would enthuse a 5 year old, I don't think.

The store at the exit is one of the only options. The art store in DTD carries mugs, pins, prints, etc. but could be a bit pricey for a kid's bday party Trust me, one of my twins (DS-8) was absolutely mad for IASW as a younger child and we had almost zero luck finding him things. Now something I was able to do for his 5th birthday was take a photo of the front of IASW at DL and have it put on a cake - it actually turned out very nice and was hundreds of dollars cheaper than if I had had the baker frost a cake to look like the clock tower's face (trust me, I tried every angle on the cake part and the photo was the best I could come up with and actually turned out beautifully). You would think that for such a much beloved ride they would have more merchandise...

Baymax: We were unable to find a single item, outside of pins, inside the park. A CM in Star Traders looked in the order system and said they were not receiving any during our stay. In the end, I ordered a 15 inch plush from Target and picked it up in-store in Garden Grove (2 miles from DLR). It was a great value at $19, total.

I saw this back in April and a few trips before so I think it's a standard item. I hope to get it on my next trip. Cute tub toy!
