It's a Small World After All...

I really like and I don't find it annoying at all as some others do. I actually like the way it was first written better, as a soft ballad, but they sped it up for the ride.

I'm with the lady who wrote to the "Unofficial Guide"...

"... the ride would be a whole lot better if thesy gave you a bunch of soft balls on the way in..."

I actually enjoy the ride and the song, its soooooo relaxing, but I think I have enough video tape of it by now.

When we were a cruise last year, Richard B Sherman, the song writer was on board with us. He apologized to everyone for writing that song. :teeth:
Persoanlly, I like it. Anything that gives me that Disney feel is ok with me. :thumbsup2

Doesn't bother me, it's my DH's favorite and as for my niece(3)--who could resist the "dolly ride" :rotfl:

I love both the song and the ride.

The ride was closed when we went in Dec 04. I was so happy last Oct. to be able to ride it again. I love the ride, the cute little characters, etc. It reminds me of my childhood.

To me, the ride and the song make me think of the MK. So, of course, I love that! Sometimes while I'm doing my obsessive planning or just lurking here reading about other people's obsessions, I'll find myself humming a happy tune. :cool1:

I love IASW... my bf hates it and couldnt wait to get off the ride. I think its great and it has a great "theme". :sunny:

I love that song as well as the ride. We never miss the ride. It's pure Disney. :goodvibes

I like it alot too. :) But I can only get my DH to ride it once per trip.

I love both the ride and the song, and fortunately my 15-year old daughter loves it as well! (DH and DS wait outside while we ride this.)

I like it because it makes you feel like you are at WDW...one of those classics not to be missed. I did not like the musty smell that it has as you ride through though. Anyone know if it still stinks since they refurbished it?

It only gets on my nerves after I have been on the ride 4 times in a row with my little ones, then I cant get the song out of my head for the rest of the day

I love it! (As my scren name shows! ;) )

It has always been one of my favorites. I have sung it as a lullaby to my little ones at bedtime, and I get teary thinking about taking them on it for the first time this fall. (I also cry at just about every WDW commercial.)

I even have it as my ringtone!

I LOVE it all! Probably for three reasons...

1) It's one of the rides I remember riding on our first trip in Dec. '86 when my grandma went with us. She is mostly likely going to pass away within the next couple of days and we're very close so it's a memory I'm holding onto for her.

2) It's my DD's favorite ride. We rode it four times this past trip and they probably would have ridden it all day if they could have.

3) I know it sounds cheesy but there really is a lot of symbolism behind it. With everything that is so bad in this world, it is a nice reminder that kids are the same around the world - it's us adults that mess it up. For just a short little bit everything "feels" right in the World - and that's what WDW is about isn't it?
