I'm 25 and I am scared of the show. Yes, i admit it. I have endured it several times for the sake of my family, but know all the tricks in order to not get the effects =) I also close my eyes through most of it, I'm too embarassed to just take off my glasses =)

I think its intense. My fam LOVES it, my DH was very impressed. I'm impressed too, I just don't like it =0

This is my 2yo daughter's first trip to Disneyworld (second if you include time in the womb!) and I think she will handle it really well. If anything she will likely just take her glasses off. My biggest problem is going to be explaining to her that she's not big enough to go on the big "rolla coostas" that she's so excited about! She's not afraid of anything!

My DD has a real issue w/ anything 3-D .

We tryed to take her to this show when she was 3yrs old and I had to leave with her during the show because she was FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!! .

I would like to see this show in full one day, but I have a feeling that won't be for awhile. She is now 6 and she still wouldn't go anywhere near that show. She thinks the tree is cool though

My 2 youngest were 3 and 18 months last time they saw ITTBAB and a couple parts they were unsure about but I just told them what was going to happen and I think it eased their fears a tab. Neither cried and 3 yr old said he wanted to see it again.

My son is 7 now and he still makes me hold him when we go in there because he doesn't like the seat effects. He does enjoy the show but really doesn't like how LOUD it is and hates feeling the bugs and the bee. My 2 year old loved it. But I was worried because there are so many kids screaming. Sometimes even if my kids aren't scared, the reactions of others will make them scared. Luckily that didn't happen to my 2 year old.

My 4 year old D liked it. So did I. I was nervous because of all the stuff I read about it. My D does get scared of stuff but if she's w/ one of us she's not. I guess she thinks we'll protect her. ha ha. The only thing she did not like was the snake in HISTA. But even that wasn't too bad for her. There was kids upset in ITTBAB. She rode HM too. I have a pic of her in the doombuggy and she's just wide eyed taking it all in. I hope she's this brave next trip. Since it will be w/ out her father. She'll have to rely on mama to protect her.

DD was 5 the first time she went - wasn't crazy about it but didn't get scared, just didn't want to do it again. DS was 18 months - didn't notice a thing. We've skipped it since then, but we're going again in May. DD is now 6 1/2 and wanting to try it again. I'm a little nervous about DS, now 3. He LOVES all of the rest of the 3D shows, just freaks out when he has to give the glasses back - but I'm not sure how he's going to take this one now. I plan to just hold him so he doesn't get the seat effects and hope for the best. Personally, it's my favorite 3D show in all of the parks.

Be very careful of this show. Some kids totally freak out and others just love it. My 7 year old neice freaked out at this show last year and we spent the rest of the week avoiding "scary" things. In discussing her fright, it seemed to be the noise as much as anything that freaked her out.

DD13 and DS 9 HATED IT! Mean mom and dad dragged them on, and i have to say, i didn't really enjoy it either. Not a big bug fan, so i wasn't very happy in it. THe Flik on the ceiling was cute though. I think the part that freaked my kids out the most was the stingers and the seat things. the stinkbug thing they knew was coming so they just held their noses. My DD has always been scared of bugs even fake ones so she was just shaken up. Both children were very angry for being dragged onto it.

DH loved it though, laughing the whole time.

Ds (8yo last trip) does NOT like this attraction AT ALL!! I keep thinking "this will be the trip" that he will like ITTBAB, and I am wrong every time! This next trip he will not be going in unless he begs to go!

He doesn't put on the glasses, he sits on my lap, he just wants no part of it. I think that the other kids screaming and being taken out by their parents leads to more kids being scared. As soon as it gets dark, you start hearing upset kids.

I think if you can start off by seeing Mickey's Philharmagic then go to Muppets, the children may not get as freaked at ITTBAB. However, in my opinion this particular 4D is not really enjoyable for most small children - even some adults get the willies

The first couple of times I saw it I was kind of creeped out. A little claustrophobic, plus the parts where you get stung and the bugs leaving the building part and the giant spiders coming down from the ceiling! I'm ok now with it, but I think every time there are terrified children and families leaving early and I wonder, don't people read the warning signs? But I guess you don't know until you try if the kids can take it. I wouldn't take little kids in at all and I would definelty have them try the other 3 shows first, so ITTBAB doesn't ruin it for them seeing HISTA, MuppetVision, & Mickey's Philharmagic. Come to think of it, I would go with MuppetVison first, them Mickey's Philharmagic, THEN HISTA and last ITTBAB. Just MHO.


(To avoid being "stung" when that part comes up just lean forward and to avoid the bugs running under your behind just slide forward or stand up.)

DW and I liked it but DD (7) definitely did not. She was OK up to the point when Hopper came out and decided to give people a taste of their own medicine. It didn't help that we were only 3 rows back and Hopper was large and in-charge right in front of us.

He scared the stuffing out of her....took me a good 20 minutes to calm her down.

I despise ITTBAB. For starters 3D hurts my eyes and they generally water the entire way through any Disney 3D show (not Imax 3D, though). I thought Mickey's Philharmagic was great and while I've only seen the DCA version of the Muppets once, I thought it was cute. I was ok with ITTBAB until the black widows came out of the ceiling. I couldn't get out of there fast enough after that. My sister likes it, though. I've only done the DCA version, because I wasn't going to waste my time on my recent WDW trip on attractions I don't enjoy back home.
