It's A Boy!!!

OK, well we have some exciting news to share!! Corey and I found out yesterday that we are having a beautiful, bouncing baby boy!!

It truly was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives! We got to see every little inch of him (including the you know what) and watch him move around. What an active little bugger! I think he already has Corey's ears, so cute!

Now we can kick our baby shopping into high gear!

Boys are wonderful! Girls are terrific too (we have one of each), but there is something special between a boy and his Mama, Julie. You just need to be sure you keep an extra cloth diaper around for those diaper changes...nothing worse that getting hit by a fountain

I found out the sex of ALL four of mine....I hate surprizes!.LOL!!

But it IS a surprise, just a surprise where both parents can enjoy it as opposed to one doing the nearly unthinkable task of childbirth and then having to find out! I think you can enjoy the surprise just as much now, and then you get to plan and enjoy the planning even more having 95+% confidence that you are planning appropriately.


Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS! I just read the rest of this thread and saw the announcement! That is so exciting for you guys!!! We are really happy for you!

You are still in for many surprises with a new baby even if you do know the sex- not to worry! My advice for boys is to start setting aside a fund for a million little metal cars. They are boy necessities. No one warned me.

We found out with both of our girls but I don't think I'm going to if/when we have another because I want that experience. But, with DD1 I was 20 weeks when we found out and with DD2 I was 16 weeks and it's (the pics) really obvious to even me. The U/S technology gets better all the time! By the way I was around 16 weeks pregnant this time last year and I was due at the end of January.

I was blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. I always wanted to try one more time for a boy but didn't. I am so happy for you both.

It is so funny... when women are pregnant, other women feel like they need to share pregnancy information, tips, stories, etc. It is like you are part of a new club or sisterhood where all members feel the need to help the new.
