It's -4 Here This Morning!!!!!

People were golfing here a few days ago and talking about what a mild winter we were having.

Mother Nature must be laughing at us now!!!!!!

That was our HIGH yesterday!!!!!
We never even made it to Zero.
Our low was -10 degrees with a wind chill of at times -25 degrees! It was a down right COLD day in Minnesota yesterday.
Today doesn't look like it will be much better

We had 60 degrees here last Friday!!!!!!!

...and now at NOON today it's 0!!!

ACK! We hit -22...I must be further north than you are. The cold will no doubt help them get that Ice Palace made though, huh?


Seems we're gonna warm up a bit today. My thermometer is reading only -18 right now!

Well, it does look like it's going to rain soon, but that's still better than those temperatures!

Cold here too...so far high of -8. The worst thing is wind gusts of 35-40 mph. We are supposed to get 10 inches of snow by sunset, 4-8 over night and another 5-8 tomorrow......

There is no more beautiful place in the summer, but not sure why we live here in the winter!

We had that here too this morning Patti. With our windchill factored in.......it was like -20 here this morning. Just west of here they have a blizzard warning out. We get the lake effect snow from Lake Michigan, and I hope that blizzard crap stays just west of here!

That 60 degree weather at the end of last week was awesome.....I only wish it stayed around for a lot longer ~ like all winter!!

Kimber, do you remember a couple of winters ago when we all had those record lows? The ACTUAL temp here got to -60 but the funniest part was that we were down at Disneyworld at the time.

(although the pipes freezing and highways buckling wasn't so funny I guess)

It was a riot going from the Florida temps of 80ish to back home.....my brain just couldn't wrap itself around the concept of -60 to 80 in just a few short hours!

Yes, you must be further north then me. I know it didn't get that cold here yesterday. I know up North it got very cold! I saw International Falls around -30 last night!

Right now according to my weatherbug it is a "balmy" 9 degrees ABOVE Zero

We are suppose to have a warm up later this week. Suppose to be in the 20s by the weekend. Should be nice after the deep freeze

I would take -4 any day. Just add another 4 and that's just how cold it's here at the moment, -44 (that's with the windchill) Apparently it's from the artic winds, I wish they'd go back the artic! I had to take the bus to school today, brrrrrrr! Though it's only suppose to last a week, that's what they SAY!

We are having a cold wave too. High 37 today, low 22.

I just look at my home towns weather in Montana and feel much better. Earlier this week they had a day with a high -20 and low -32. That is not wind chill. I told my girls that is why we don't visit MT in the winter.
