True, JJ. Maybe I'll forget the walk for today...but I feel guilty! I've been thinking of it since I got up this morning. Maybe I'll just do the sit-ups, etc. inside. Tomorrow morning, FIRST THING, will be the walk!!

Thought about staying in all day but it's way too gorgeous outside so I went to the beach with dd6 and had a lovely day. I swear it was the Magic or Wonder that sailed by heading north. It had that dark blue hull and red smoke stacks.
You missed some great weather PW. The beach was packed.

I have been on the computer almost all day..
My friend came to get her kids and she took Shelby with her.
I went looking for my son's tennis shoes ( That we still can't find).
I did however take a shower this morning, but mainly because even with a shower last night, I felt smokey from the bar.

It's almost 6:30 pm and still in my pjs!! WHO-HOO!!

However, DH & I have been busting our bums all day putting holiday decorations away and transfering everything from old entertainment center to the new one.

Just ordered a pizza and will eat, shower and get ready for bed.

This was the post that gave me the push I needed. I got dressed, went out at 5:30 for a half hour walk instead of the usual hour, got home, showered, and jumped in my Mickey Mouse night shirt.

Pirate...True, although I tend to be a Late Night DISer. Not unusual to be up until 3 a.m. Wish I could sleep!! Two nights ago I finally gave up at 5 a.m.

PW -- Good going getting that walk in! I bet you feel good now. I wish I could have spent more time outside. It was so nice, but I was only out there for a few minutes encouraging the dogs to be active. I bet the beach down there was gorgeous.

I made it to the airport to switch out cars in time -- and no fighting over messed-up reservations like on Christmas. I love going to the airport. It sure woke me up. Now I'll be awake 'til sunrise. Maybe I will attack this pile of crap on my desk or figure out some stuff for work so I'll be ahead when I get there. Yeah... who am I kidding?

Yes, Jen...feel much better since getting out! And the guilt is gone. LOL! Encouraging your pups to be active? They got their exercise in then. My two run around the yard like crazy. The little one chases the big one.

Glad you got to the airport in time. Hope you find a permanent car soon. Wouldn't getting ahead in paperwork be nice? Fat chance though. Especially on a holiday I guess. Good luck with it!

I had to work today from 1-6:30pm....

I was in my PJs (white and pink with winnie the pooh and friends wearing winterwear...scarves and such) from about 2:30am last night, till I took a shower at 12pm for work!! I woke up at 8:30am with the worst headache (did manage to go back to sleep)...and all I could think was...why the heck do I have a headache?? Last night was a sober night for me!! (my date doesn't drink) had the darn headache all day!! Wish I could have staying in my jammies and not been working.

Hey leggs We had gone over to the beach last night. Saw some fireworks, took off our shoes and rolled up our pants and walked in the water and then built a sand castle, it was massive, with outbuildings, barrier walls, and moats...even a helicopter pad!! Sand castles get a bit more technical once you are an adult!! Had a great time "playing" like kids though on NYE...did manage to get my pants completely wet and covered in wet sand though which made the drive home cold and uncomfortable
