Former support group member here - I got it today!

It came to my work email only, not to my home email or 4 fake yahoo emails I had created.

The only thing I did differently on this account was I looked at a resort on the website after I signed in. Thursday I got an email from Disney Destinations that said "here are pictures of your resort" but no discount. In a huff I went on and deleted the one itinerary that said I needed accomodations. Then I read on the DIS that people were getting PINS the day after getting the loser resort mail. So I went back in, reinstated the itinerary stating that I needed accomodations and logged out and didn't log back in. Friday - nothing. Today - 2 emails at 11:40 EST. Identical with same PIN.

I booked us at VWL. BLT and BCV showed 1 bedrooms online for my dates, but they were no longer available at the discount.

Good luck everyone. I know how I was starting to feel about gloaty people and their PINS, so I truly hope other people get them. Try not to lose hope!

No PIN for me....again. I called WDW to change my number if tickets (from 9 to 10 day) and asked if I had a PIN. The woman was nice enough to look (didn't jsut say 'no') although she did say she wasn't aware of any PINS that are out right now. I let her know a 'few of my friends' have gotten PINS that are traveling dates not too far from us. So she looked further. NADA! I asked if she looked in my DH's name....she said she looked over the whole profile and no one traveling with me (DH and the kids) had a PIN to their name.

She did confirm my email...which was the email I used to set up the 2nd account (to try and get the PIN), not the email I used to book? Hmmm. So she switched it back....at least I don't have to search my 2nd email anymore, no PIN!

I got one to my actual email address and got the 20/30/40 pin at 10:58 am EST!!!!

Now we have to decide whether to upgrade to a deluxe...or do a splitstay...or just get thirty percent off our original reservation at the POFQ!!!!

I am so excited (if you can't tell). Thanks so much to everyone!!!

Seriously, I was about to write on letter to Disney on your behalf. If anyone deserves a code on these threads its you for all the good work you are doing as a volunteer.

I am SO GLAD to see people are still getting pins! I was starting to feel guilty! For those of you who haven't received one yet, don't give up! It took mine 4 business days to come, 6 days altogether counting the weekend. My fingers are crossed for you all!

Awwww...don't be sad. I felt the same as you, a week ago I had just about given up all hope. As a last ditch effort, I created one more new account, saved 1 itinerary saying that I was staying offsite, and the very next day at noon I got the 20/30/40 code. If it can happen to me, it can for you too.

It is exciting . This just proves again that Disney is far from dumb. First they make us work for the pin, to make sure that you really really want it, THEN when they give it to you, they know that you're going to be enticed to upgrade!! And then Disney still gets the same amount of money out of me as I was going to spend (if not more ) and Disney still gets to rent out the probably more popular POFQ room that I had previous reserved.

Sigh, anyone ever stay at the Contemporary? Don't even talk about Free Dining because if that gets extended, then I'll have to do even MORE math to figure out if that's a better deal than the pin!! I haven't done so much math since gradeschool...First I went batty over getting the pin, now I'm batty over which resort to use it on

Sigh, anyone ever stay at the Contemporary?

I stayed there at the end of 2008. I liked it. I originally booked the Poly, but got a pin and it couldnt be used at the Poly, so ended up at the Contemp. There were 6 of us there and another 5 at the GF. We ONLY chose a monorail resort because we had 2 little ones with us and elderly Mom. We threw them on the monorail after lunch so they could take their naps. It was very convenient. Other than that, we would have saved thousands staying at another resort, just as nice. The monorail resorts get LOTS of traffic with the dining guests, curious guests etc.. Im afraid too, with the opening of BLT, the Contemp would be extra crowded with the 2000+ more guests..especially using the monorail.

I would never tell anyone how to spend their money, just wanted to give my experience!

I hear ya!!! Disney has all angles covered believe you me. I love Disney way to much. My friend says if TPTB could calibrate how much air u breathed down there they would charge for that.
