Have our second DCL cruise booked for April 2018 and are considering an Xmas 2018 cruise with friends.

1. Are the itineraries typically the same year to year? If I look at 2017, is that kind of what my choices would be?

2. Rough estimate on release of those itineraries -- summer 2017?

3. I know during the rest of the year, the ships typically have their own "location." If we wanted one of the smaller, classic ships, do they run certain itineraries typically in late Dec?

Thanks in advance!

1. Yes. There are sometimes minor changes on individual itineraries.

2. I believe the speculation is running around March this year.

All of the ships are in the Caribbean or Bahamas every December. That said, their precise itineraries vary. The itineraries of the Magic and Wonder vary more than those of the Fantasy and Dream. I sailed the Magic over New Years' last year, and have a Magic cruise booked over next New Year's, too, but the itineraries for those cruises are different: different number of nights, and different ports.

Thank you! It's the Caribbean part that's going to be a hard sell for one of the travelers. Too bad one ship wasn't in Europe somewhere or out on the West Coast!

The Magic does the Europe/Mediterranean and the Wonder West coast/Alaska in the summer.
