Itinerary question - how would you do this?

First thing that jumps out: do you HAVE to do lego land? I thought Discovery cove came with 2 weeks admission to sea world, aquatic and busch gardens. I would do the day at Aquatica instead of lego land just to save the money.

Haha, yeah, LL is a must. My son really has his heart set on it. And, Discovery Cove/SW/AQ may not happen at all. If not, I think we'd just get the Park Hopper/Water Park passes and do 5 days at the parks, one day at each water park and LL.

Since you are doing DC and therefore getting 14 days included for SW/AQ, why aren't you taking advantage of that? I would at least take a couple afternoons off and spend it in Roa's Rapids. So I would maybe do a 4 day hopper to accommodate the free park stuff at SW/AQ, or a 5 day no-hopper since you will be getting unlimited access to the other 2 (very fun and awesome) parks. In fact when we do DC we usually go very light on Disney because of that, but that's how we keep our trips interesting. If you switch around park families there is always something new and exciting when you go. Or, since you must do LegoLand, skip Disney and just do the other parks. But maybe I am in the minority when it comes to skipping Disney on occasion.

Yes, Disney is our priority. Definitely would not skip or even drop a day.
