It looks like you have taken care of the most important thing, leaving plenty of time to do it all. You have a couple of days of everything planned, so if theres something you like and something you don't, you can flip flop them around. Sounds like a great trip, and you have put a lot of parks in there but spaced them out nicely with days off.

Hi
CarolDel what month are u going if its march which it looks like from days and dates only thinking that because your first week matches with our last week march 20th and march 27th is mardi gras at universal and on the 27th James Brown will be in concert at Universal u might not want too miss that your plan looks fine but remember the kids like the pool at hotel or property so plan for allowing that :jester:

Thanks for your comments :p

Wow i didn't know about James Brown - I take the tickets will be sold out by now? I had read a comment about Mardi Gras but didn't know if we would see it or not, so that is great news too.

We are staying at Lake Berkeley, so i think it is quite central ?

So the loose plan is get up early grab a big breakfast, be there for the gates opening, stop for a breather about 11 to recoup and grab a snack, then attack the attractions again about 3.30 - 4ish and unless we are doing fireworks (epcot etc) we will head back to chill by the pool. Hopefully before the rest of the park starts to empty.

I don't want to do military op, and as Prince Eric 1 says we can flip days around.

Thanks dissers

Carol

Wow, that seems very well planned out.

All I can say is bring LOTS of film. ;)

not to be the nay sayer but with park hoppers you may want to split up your disney days and use their transportation to say do some of MK then hop over by monorail to epcot- if you hit a really crowded park this helps becuase often another park is less full. also the parks are alot of one thing like epcot is a lot of walking aand mgm is a lot of shows pick your favorites to see in each park and maybe split those days up between to wdw parks.

CarolDel Mardi Gras is incl with your park admission on those days its run which this year is the saturdays:jester:

Highlander447 - Thanks for the extra info - I just found the thread on the mardi gras activities and am a little bit more clued up now.

Minnimama, we might do that if we get a bit more confident but I don't want the tribe getting too frazzled and I think if the parks get too busy for all of us, then we will just find somewhere nice to chill. I think I would just get the "Paddington Bear Stare" if I suggested changing parks mid day especially if theyhadn't all done what they wanted to - It maybe gets easiers 2nd time around?

Dark Marauder I am getting loads of disposable cameras for the lads - so no doubt we will have loads of pictures of peoples feet and odd bits of sky and can play the "guess which part of the building that is" game. DH want's to get a digital camera.

Thanks again for all your tips, this is great for us newbies.

I have 3 boys also, and their favorite thing to do in Orlando is missing from your itinerary - DISNEYQUEST! One thing you may consider is letting them go into Disneyquest at Downtown Disney if you are planning one of your shopping days there. If you have those talk-abouts, you can keep in touch with them throughout the afternoon while you and your mom shop around. Just a thought - don't know how comfortable you would be with that idea. I just know how bored my 3 sons would be with 4 days of shopping! And definately don't forget the pool days. Some days you might never get them out of the pool!

Have fun! Your itinerary looks GREAT! Sounds like you've really mixed up the days to keep it interesting!

Looks great, but just one question:

Can I go with you? LOL.....:p

Have fun!

yeah 3boysmum, my 3 lads would not be happy shopping
( unless it was for GBA games of course):hyper:

The days that I have for non park days are pencilled in for things like disneyquest ( which I think you are right the boys will love) Ripleys, Wonderworks etc - I just didn't want to put them in the itenerary so that we had a bit of spontaniety and they can pick where they fancy). I think you are also right about the pool, if DH & lads want a chill day, they can stay in the pool & my mum & I will go shopping:) If they want to come along, we have mobile phones which will work in USA so they might just get one of them, but I hadn't thougth of that, thanks for that one.:p

Spideyhulk, thanks for the generous offer of your company lol

cheers for the help

Carol
