My trip is planned for September 23rd to September 30th with free DDP. Besides myself, my husband and son (3 years 10 months) will be with me. After I found the Dis, I have gone into obsessed planning mode. I made all of ADR's and have a skelton plan for our days. Can those of you with experience please look over it and let me know if you see any problems? We are staying at All Star Movies.

Day 1 - Saturday
Arrive at MCO @ 1 pm. DME to hotel.
Grab CS at the hotel and head right to MK for DS first glimpse of Main St and the castle. (Yes, I get misty eyed just thinking about it!!!) :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Day 2 - Sunday
AM - Not sure here --- Maybe head to Epcot (DH favorite park) after breakfast at food court at ASMo.
Early afternoon break - nap for little guy (probably Mommy and Daddy too)
Dinner ADR at 'Ohana @5pm
EMH evening at MK

Day 3 - Monday
AM - EMH at AK
Early afternoon break - nap for little guy (probably Mommy and Daddy too)
Dinner ADR @ Sci Fi @ MGM
EMH @ MGM (possibly see Fantasmic???)

Day 4 - Tuesday
AM Sleep in, swim, possibly take a trip to DTD and shop
Dinner @ Chefs de France @ Epcot 6pm.
Stay to watch Illuminations

Day 5 - Wednesday
AM - Breakfast @ Hollywood & Vine 8:30 am (Playhouse Disney)
Shoot over to MK (or where ever DS wants to go back to)
Take a nap and get ready for the dinner I am looking forward to the most...
Dinner AKL at Boma ADR 5pm
EMH @ AKL evening

Day 6 - Thursday
AM - Breakfast at Chef Mickeys 8:30am
EMH at MK - Not sure if we will stay there or not.
Afternoon nap -
Not sure what to do after this - possibly take it easy and play it by ear.
Trying not to get sad cause our last day is tomorrow. :sad2:

Day 7 - Friday
AM - Sleep in - We have a long day ahead of us.....
Lunch @ Coral Reef 12:10 pm
Swim at hotel and nap
MNSSHP at night
Say good-bye to the castle

Day 8 - Saturday
Head home :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
It's an early flight so we will have had to say goodbye to everything the day before.

The rest of my CS from the DDP will most likely be breakfast at the hotel or lunch at whatever park we are at. What does everyone think? Too much? I am looking for some experts to point out if I am missing anything...Thanks so much.

Definitely a solid itinerary for travelling with a young child.

Also, you are favoring Magic Kingdom a LOT but I think that is still cool, especially since it appeals to young children the most and is of course my favorite.

Good job with the planning thusfar in my opinion though.

Have a great time!!!! :)

I'm really hoping someone with a preschooler will take a look and let me know what I need to add and/or change to make the most of my time...

I have a preschooler and an infant. I am going the same week as you, same hotel and Boma on the same night. Oh, and MNSSHP on the 29th. :)

I don't know if I would plan EMH evenings and then an EMH (early) mornings right after each other. That might be a lot. I don't have any EMH planned at all.

I took DD when she was 3 for the first week of October. She was tired and defintely needed a nap everyday.

I would try to put one of your late nights on your day 6 and sleep in on day 7 before MNSSHP (good plan there). We like to do our first morning at MK, but we are not planning to go there on the 23rd. We have PS for Chef Mickey's. Might ride the monorail around (this is the main thing DD remembers from her trip).

Anything else just ask! :)

I don't really plan on being at AK for EMH on Monday. Since I am traveling with the little man, I am going to be "kind of" fleixble. No matter what time he goes to bed, I don't know how he does it, but he wakes up at the same time every morning. He just takes his nap earlier. He naps anytime between 10 am and 3pm so those parts are just being played by ear. Some people have told me that TGM says those days are not the best to go to those particular parks but did not go into detail. Since I have the park hopper, I plan on just leaving a park and going to a different one if I find it too crowded. Thank you so much for your help!
