How long until the next vacation?

I'm in the very beginning stages of planning a vacation for 2017. We would like to visit these places in particular when we go:
Universal (both parks, probably 3 days total)
Sea World (1 day)
Space Center (1/2-1 day)
Gatorland (1/2-1 day)
Safari Wilderness (1/2-1 day)
Lion Country Safari (1/2 day)
WonderWorks (1/2 day)
Busch Gardens (1-2 days)
Are there any other not-to-miss places aside from Disney in that area?
I'm thinking we should stay at 1 of the Universal resorts at least during the time we'd be at Universal. Does it make the most sense to stay there only for those days or to stay there the whole trip because we can always go to those parks at night if we have nothing to do? If it makes more sense to split a stay, does anyone having any itinerary strategies &/or hotel suggestions?
