I am looking back over our plans- please give input!! it is my DS,11, DD 14 and me ,single mom 42-staying at Beach Club-
Arrive 7/24-Monday around noon- plan to head to Epcot and look around- Dinner- ESPN Clunb and maybe Fantasia Gradens Golf
Tuesday- Animal Kingdom day- Donald's breakfastosaurous- 8:10- dinner Hollywood & Vine- 6:30- Fantasmic(dining package)
Wednesday- Magic Kingdom- 11:30- The Plaza - do we head to Space Mtn 1st or to BTMR and Splash Mtn dinner -Ohana's 8:10 -wishes-
Thursday- Blizzard Beach- not sure how long-until lines are long I guess- free afternoon-dinner- sci-Fi- 7:10-Not sure about this one
Friday- Epcot day- no lunch plans- dinner -Teppanyaki 7;00- Illuminations- should we do cruise 1st night- there's a boat that has room- or just eat and watch Illuminations?
Saturday- back to Favorites at MK, MGM- leave for airport 5:00

My kids are 7 & 14, I find especially with the 14yo that she wants to be a little more spontaneous and hates my schedules. As a matter of fact she rebels against them (must be a teenager thing!).

I plan which park we go to each day, we arrive first thing each morning (short lines!) and then leave when it gets crowded and hot around 1-2pm. Go back to hotel so we can rest & swim. We make LATE dinner reservations around 8-9pm. That way we have time to rest and can go back to the park later in evening, watch fireworks, and if not too tired can ride a few more rides when it's cooler and less crowded.

I try not to cram too much into one day and allow time for big kids to swim & just goof off. But most of all be flexible, I have learned the hard way to be flexible and don't keep them on too much of a schedule (allow them their own time to do what they want).

thanks - I totally agree with you about going early adn back to pool when it's hot- but from what i've heard it's best to have ADR's and if we decide not to go we can cancel- but we plan to eat dinner out each night.

Space Mountain first...then make your way over to Frontierland.

Illuminations- should we do cruise 1st night- there's a boat that has room- or just eat and watch Illuminations?

That is totally up to your discretion ^...

Your overall plan seems OK...but I'd try to move O'hana's...if you're already in the park, why leave it for dinner just to go back?

I was thinking we'd be finished in the afternoon- - go back to swim, rest then back for a late dinner-
