This is the itinerary my Travel agent sent to me, we still have time to change it before we make dining reservations so I am lookin for any thoughts or suggestions, with 4 adults and 1 pre schooler I am trying to find a good balance for everyone. Thanks!!! :)

We purposely avoided EMH parks for our first and second WDW visits and plan to for our upcoming holiday, we stay on site so we have access to them but subscribe to the theory that it's not a wise idea to visit the park offering extra hours, I like easywdw.com

I don't hop unless absolutely necessary. The amount of time lost going from park to park doesn't make sense to me. Especially with a little one who will require an early bed time. I also avoid EMH, but you can definitely make them work if you use them correctly (by arriving early and hopping if things get too crowded)

I would suggest changing out the Dessert Party and The Hollywood Studio Light Show for the days you are actually there already, that will save a lot of back and forth travel.

It's much easier to hop between EPCOT and HS, to hop between MK and HS can only be done by bus. It can take a long time depending on the timing of the buses.

We hop alot, usually MK to EPCOT or EPCOT to HS.

We usually do a 1/2 day at AK and then hop to any park.

We find the easiest way to hop is to avoid the bus, either the monorail or boats work best for us.

Just my two cents!:)

How did you know which parks have EMH on which days? I'm going the same week in December and want to use it to help me plan!

Thanks for the Advice everyone!!! my Travel agent set up this itinerary so I am guessing she has the EMH information. We do like to hop, but this is the first trip for us during the holiday season. We usually go in the Spring/Summer. Just trying to take advantage of the holiday events lol. The wishes party is a surprise for my Mom. She loves the fireworks shows and she is going through a NASTY divorce right now so I thought this would be a nice gift to her. We have never done one but I have heard good things about it.

I think EMH are ok if you are park hopping. It's true that you lose time hopping, but unless you are going to stay in a park from rope drop to closing, it's not a ton of time. I don't know many people that could handle 12 straight hours in the park for an entire week.

We generally take a break in the afternoon that gives us the energy to stat at the second park all night. If you do morning magic hours and clear out of that park before it starts to get really crowded then it work. :)
