My 3 college roommates and I are taking a free dining trip in September. I'm really excited but starting to get a little worried about how we're going to decide what to do with our time. I know I'm going to want to get up early and get into the parks, but two of the four of us may want to sleep in. I guess splitting up is okay, but I do want to spend as much time together as possible since that's the purpose of the trip. And I can imagine lots of "What do you want to do? I don't care, what do you want to do?" conversations. With my own family, I generally plan what parks we go to, where we eat, etc, ahead of time. Anyone have experience with this kind of girl trip and have tips to make it go smoothly?

Sounds like a fun trip! Here is what I would do. Have everyone decide what they want to do and write it down. From that you can probably put together an itinerary of sorts- you can see what is important to all of you or just a couple of you. You don't have to spend every waking moment together--maybe you and another friend can go in time for rope drop and have the others meet for for lunch then tour together from there. This way you all know ahead of time that sleeping in is important to one, Fantasmic is something you all want to see etc.

I would also decide ahead what TS you want and make your ADR ASAP.

It is do-able and you should all have a great time if you all know what to expect of each other ahead of time. It will cut down the "what do you want to do?" nonsense that NO serious DIS-er wants to put up with :rotfl2:

It should also cut down on bickering if you all share expectations.

Have a magical trip!
