Hi,

A co-worker of mine who was at the 40th wanted me to ask if anyone had a list of the items available at the Diamond Horseshoe on the 40th. She purchased the 40th anniversary watch and some other items but was unaware of the items at the Diamond Horseshoe.

Thanks!

Bumping. If anyone knows it would be appreciated. I think she wants to see if anything is still available through merchandise services or whatever they're called.

I never made it into the Diamond Horseshoe that day so I can't tell you for certain what was available inside.

i do however know that pretty much all the special limited edition merch was sold out that day. (except for the rare items which someone they found more of and put in the stores the next day.....and likely have already sold out for real.)

I spent a great deal of time inside the Diamond Horseshoe and listing everything that was for sale would be difficult.

There was left over merchandise from the previous evening's Room For One More Haunted Mansion Event. This consisted mostly of pins and pin sets.

There was the non-limited 40th anniversary stuff designed by Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily. This included the vase based on the Grand Canyon Concourse mural in the Contemporary, small world plates, cell phone covers etc. This stuff is available in the Art of Disney. I believe it was available there because the artists were going to be there.

There were a great many boxes of 40th anniversary tshirts.

There was a long table set up so Noah (an artist) could display his artwork and meet guests for autographs. His art was mostly larger gicleed canvas.

Also inside, but inside a roped off section, were the various limited edition pins. pin sets and the very limited edition $600 nine inch Vinylmation. I believe there were 6 of these, all together. From what I could see, this was metallic purple and looked like someone wrote on it with a sharpie. I was told the $150 three inch version sold out very early.

This section was roped off and only accessible by waiting in the line for folks with wristbands or waiting in the very long and never moving stand-by line.

It's also my understanding that all of the unsold limited edition pins, pin sets etc (including left over "I Was There" pins were sold the next day at the Frontierland Mercantile.

I don't know that I can offer any more detail than that

Thanks Kevin.:goodvibes

I appreciate it. My friend is also a new podcast listener..and she heard you talking about standing in line at the Diamond Horseshoe. She has been to disneyworld for every major anniversary and has collected quite a few items at each anniversary. She managed to get a couple of things that day but was unaware of what mdse was at the Diamond Horseshoe.
I'm going to send her the link to the thread. She can be very tenacious. If there is any merchandise to be had, she'll find a way to get it.

Does anyone know if they anniversary watch is still available? I am headed down next week and I would like to have one to add to my collection.

If I have to, that will be my big purchase the first day there...LOL!!!

Not sure. I know my friend got one that day. It was around $200 I think. It is really cool!

I really hope that there is some still left. I have a collection of the anniversary watches from years past and I would really like to keep the collection going. That is going to be the one big purchase for me this trip.
