Italy Ceremony - Walking down the aisle question

Crazy Question - We are planning a ceremony in Italy. I want to enter to a certain song - A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes - by Linda Ronstadt. To anyone that has had a ceremony in Italy - how long did it take from when you are first seen to when you reach the the alter. Also, are you seen when you arrive or are you kept hidden? Where exactly do you start and where do you end up. I'm pretty sure you go over the bridge. We will be in WDW this November and maybe I can "take the walk" and time it - or count approximately how many steps it is. I am not looking for an exact time but general. It is a long song and I only want part of it - but I want it to break at a good spot where it doesn't sound like the song just stopped. (Am I starting to obsess?)

You're totally not obsessing - I've just been trying to figure out the very same stuff for Morocco! I don't want my song faded at all, so I'll have to walk reaaaallly slow - I timed my walk during my site visit and it's only 30 seconds!

I wish I had the info on Italy for you, but I can say that timing the walk when you're there in November is a great idea. Also, ask your planner where you'll start - it makes a big difference, and no one has told me yet...

Thank you so much for not thinking I'm crazy. I will definately try it out when I am in WDW. Maybe I'll bring the song with me and try to walk to the time of the song. Alot of guests will probably think I'm crazy if they see me walking around Italy in time to music. I'll see what Heidi says when I'm there. Any other brides out there have any ideas.

I know there was someone here who got married in Italy and posted a bunch of videos in her TR. If I remember correctly, she was hidden behind her limo so that no one could see her and I don't think anyone was able to until she got to the bridge (because of the angle of everyone being down below). I know her name is Mary, but I can't remember her username!

I do remember Mary 626. The pictures from her report was what made me want to have our ceremony in Italy. As of now I am also planning on using the same invitation she used. Our colors will be red though instead of blue - I don't want anyone here to think I am a DFTW stalker. I will do a search for her trip report (I know it was a while ago) and reread it and see if she list some sort of timeline.
