How big is the Italian Sandwich at Pizzafari in AK? Is it "shareable?" We are having a big breakfast and large dinner on our AK day, so I wanted to find something that DH and I can share for lunch and that sandwich sounds so yummy! Thanks!

I much prefer the sandwich at Pizzafari to the pizza. It's pretty generous in size, too, so if you're looking for something to tide you over between big meals, I bet it'd fill the bill.

Pizzafari is something of a family joke for us. I routinely diss the pizza (even though it isn't bad ... there are just other spots better for CS for me), and the rest of the fam harasses me about lunch there. I like it just fine, but don't tell anyone else in my household. I have an image to protect.

My mother and I split one when we were there and we liked it, it was definitely enough for the two of us.

DS and I split the chicken parm sandwich & a side order of breadsticks (it was a snack credit) last year & had more than enough to eat.

Depends on your appetite - I've downed one by myself when it was my main meal of the day, but also shared it with another adult (plus a small salad) another time.

LOVE the Italian sandwhich there. I could see us sharing (you could always get a fozen lemonaid if you are still hungry;))

My sister and I each ate one last week. We loved them and wouldn't have wanted to share. However we don't eat much breakfast, so we were very hungry. After a big breakfast sharing would probably work just fine. If you need a snack, I suggest the pork & shrimp eggrolls from stand on the path between Asia and Africa.

Is the italian sandwich at Pizzafari the same as the ones at the All Star food courts?

We love Pizzafari!!!!!

Might I suggest sharing a caesar salad and breadsticks. The salad is rather large and I think they give you 4 breadsticks.

BTW, a friend of ours raved about the italian sandwich. I think it was the highlight of their trip for him.:rotfl:
