Italian - narrowed down to 2 but still need help...

These were chosen mostly based on location - so which do you prefer- Mama Melrose or Alfredo's???

Mama Melrose. Alfredo's is too loud and chaotic and the food is only mediocre IMO. And I've given it more than one try to make sure we hadn't just hit it on an "off" night.

I prefer Mama Melrose over Alfredo's. If you want to take it to the next level to fine Italian dining, I would recommend Palio or Portobello Yacht Club.

We prefer Mama's. Alfredo's, IMHO, is disgusting and expensive. And we also tried it 3 times.
