Is anyone watching this? I think the finale is tonight. I thought it was very scary and almost stopped watching. I like the time it's set in and I always love kids riding around on bikes solving mysteries. I also think it was cast very well. I will watch the last episode, but I am kind of glad it's over. It's good but intense IMO.

I got HBO Max at Black Friday for the sole purpose of watching this. I am hoping they continue the series with the with the events of 1935 & 1908.

I will likely be canceling after I watch the series finale.

I have always bee an avid Stephen King fan, have read all his books, seen all the movies & tv series adapted from his works. Most are very good & have watched several of them multiple times.
But I have come to realize that I don't like horror books or movies anymore.
But I do want to see The Long Walk movie edition tho, that book is one of my King favorites.

Just watched it, one of my favorite books. I think it’s down to $12.50 for a rental on prime, I did a bunch of no rush shipping on Amazon and used those credits. It was good.

Off topic on this thread, but I saw the Long Walk in theaters, and now I own it. It was amazing. It's a very stressful watch, but also oddly beautiful.

I had a tough time with the first episode too. I wasn't sure I wanted to continue but DH did so I kept watching. It did get better, then it gets kind of weird again. LOL.

Just saw that season 2 & 3 were confirmed so we will get to see the events of 1935 and 1908.

Big Stephen King fans, so yes we're watching it. We're also rewatching The Outsider, another great HBOMax King drama...from 2020, very good.

I read the book ages ago but the movies have a creepiness don't remember the books had so I have not seen the movie. The stills tend to remind me of John Wayne Gacy, nope nope nope

the easter eggs in the series are fantastic for king fans.

we own both the theatrical versions of IT as well as the old made for TV mini-series. it was interesting to rewatch the mini-series back to back with the theatricals b/c both left out elements of the book that the other chose to include.

I’ve never seen any of the It movies but I did watch this whole series. DH is a huge horror fan and I watched it with him. I liked it but the kids getting killed thing really bothered me. I’m not a horror fan at all but I did like this show and will now go watch the movies, which DH has been trying to get me to watch for years

Really enjoyed watching the final episode. Hated to see it come to an end.
