Today Grandma and Pa were off to Seaworld and we were heading to the Magic Kingdom. Grandma and Grandpa don’t get moving quite as fast as I would like so we were later leaving the Condo than I wanted. We dropped Grandma and Grandpa off at Seaworld and headed to the Magic Kingdom. We wandered straight to Fantasy land. Dumbo was unfortunately down so we went straight to Peter Pan, I decided to get a fast pass for Peter Pan so we could ride again later, it was at this point I accidentally (honestly it was an accident I wasn't thinking about it.) put Grandma and Grandpas tickets in the fast pass machine...... it spat out two fast pass tickets this was unexepted as I assumed that because we hadn’t registered the tickets at the front when entering they would not give us fast passes. I unshamably used this to our advantage as now we had 4. Doug and I had decided that we would come back to the Magic Kingdom after the kids had been put to bed so I used our ability to get extra fast passes to collect them for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

Myself and Seth with a Monty Burns look about him

After riding a few rides in Fantasyland we stopped for some funnel cake and a Mickey Mouse waffle. Cullen loved the waffle but probably because he didn’t get a look in at the funnel cake. Now that thing was the best snack item we ate at parks the whole time we were there. It was so yummy.

Seth munching on one of Mickey's ears.

The lines were getting huge and it was getting hard to move around. – Note to self do not visit Magic Kingdom on a Saturday again. It was also very hot. After going to see Mickey Philharmonic which was great we went and played in Poohs playful spot. Seth had a blast playing in the water spouts. Germaphobic people look away now. He kept getting sprayed in the face and he thought it was great taking a drink every now and again. Cullen came in for a bit and got soaking also I hadn’t brought spare clothes but it was sooooo hot that they dried off pretty fast anyway. (he didn't get sick either by the way for drinking that water)

After leaving there we headed around to Adventure land to ride the magic carpet, jungle cruise and pirates. The jungle cruise was had a major line so I fast passed it. Doug and Cullen waited in line for the magic carpets while I sat and gave Seth some milk, finishing just in time for Doug to get to the front of the line so I fired Seth over the rail and he took them both on. We went and road Pirates at which Cullen loved and Seth fell asleep while feeding, I guess it was nice and cool. He didn’t even wake for the cannons going off. When we came out we ran into Peter Pan so Cullen had his photo taken.

We stopped for a Dole Whip Float – 2nd best snack thing eaten at the parks rode Jungle Cruise before heading back to Fantasyland to see what the lines were like before heading home. Road the tea cups then headed back home mid afternoon. Went back to the condo had a swim and then went and picked up Grandma and Pa from Seaworld – they had a great day. We got lost going to find Bahama Breeze – but luckily happened on another branch of it. We had a lovely meal there but the kids were just too whacked and started to play up. I had the seared tuna dish which was devine and everyone else seemed to like their dinners. Grandpa took Seth off my hands and took him for a wander outside to listen to the band and I finished my meal. Took the kids and Grandparents home and put them into bed and then headed off for the Magic Kingdom. Arrived and went to Big Thunder Mountain and road that. What a fun ride, the lady taking the fast pass tickets told us to have a good trip and was very surprised when we replied with thank you. She said she had been taking tickets for quite a while and we were the first people to say thank you. I found that very weird where are peoples manners. We rode big thunder twice and then went over to Splash Mountain. We had a fast pass for this as well but because it was a bit cool people didn’t want to ride it I guess in the fear that they would get wet. (we never got at all wet) So we walked on rode and then when we came round to get off I noticed there was nobody waiting so asked if we could go again and they happily waved us through without having to get off. We were just coming to the top when the fire works were going off and I thought great we will go over the falls and will be able to see the fireworks but the ride broke down for a bit so we were sat inside listening to that music over and over again........ After getting off there we went and rode the Haunted Mansion which had about a 15 min wait, got stuck getting through the parade on the way but made it through eventually. love that ride before heading out just before closing with what seemed to be everyone one else in the park. The lines were huge to get back to our car, we took the ferry as it seemed as quick as anything else. I had read about a sneaky tip of taking the resort monorail but the lines for that were packed as well. Got home and found Grandma and Seth like this.

Another stellar day--three happy generations, the two best snacks of the vacation, and time alone with your husband. Well done. The series of photos of Seth in the water are priceless. . . and Cullen on the carousel and with Peter Pan--it must have been difficult deciding which of these to frame.

Two best photographs ... story board of Seth playing with the water and Seth and Grandma bushed

You managed to get loads squeezed into your day today. great idea about the fastpases for the evening visit to magic kingdom

It is so nice that I get on with my in-laws, especially as my parents live in NZ. Oh and those snacks are brilliant.

great piccies. clever you to utilise the fastpasses :thumbsup2

I did feel a little bad for a minute or so for using the extra tickets for fast passes especially seeing the inlaws weren't with us at the MK that day. But hey it was only for a little minute of guiltyness.

hope you enjoyed the funnel cake, its my favourite :thumbsup2

We are looking forward to another try on our trip to Disneyland in June. I need to learn how to make it.

We love Bahama Breeze, great food and atmosphere :thumbsup2.I love the photo of Seth+Grandma.

He had a great time, and it cooled him down. Thank you for reading.

They were ok but I think only because they were shaped like Mickey Mouse. The kids liked them.

Great day. I love the pictures of Cullen playing with the water fountains...so cute!

Funnel cake is one of DWs favourite things in WDW - always makes a bee-line for it when we get there. In fact she almost bought a 'make your own' kit when we were last there but we don't think it would have turned out as well as it does over there. But boy did that waffle look good :thumbsup2

Enjoying reading it so far.

Another lovely day and photos, glad you got on so many rides. MK on a Saturday can be so busy. I love MK but do hate the rigamole of getting from the park if you stay till closing or try to go after the fireworks, took us over an hour once to get from MK back to the car.

Oh my goodness, what a cute Grandma and Seth picture!!:goodvibes Being a gradma myself that gave me the warm fuzzies for sure!

What a nice MK day! The boys looked like they had a great time. Loved the picture of you and Seth on the Merry go round! Yummm, the treats looked great!
