It took 2 minutes to make a ressie for 16 days from now

I about fell off my chair. I booked this trip at the very last minute and bought the QS plan because I figured it was way too late to try for ressies. I'm happy with the QS decision except for the Studios day. None of the counter service there appeals to me.

So, I decided to try for a Sci-Fi ressie. In 2 minutes I had the confirmation # for the time I wanted. The CM chuckled at me when I made a remark about how easy that was. Fingers crossed that this is a sign it won't be dreadfully crowded when we're down there.

I'm very happy for you. My husband made our ADR's for our May/June trip last Sunday and he was on hold for an hour and 45 minutes

Well that is amazing because I just called about an hour ago and was on hold for 25 full minutes. When I got through, it was quick. But the hold time is what kills you.

People make lots of last minute changes, cancel any extra ADR's they may have made, or sit down with the final budget and just decide maybe counter service is good enough, lol.

how very nice! You're lucky to get ressies when your trip is that close. Hope you got ones you wanted.

Great to have such a short wait. Course, I think most people with reservations before May 26 are getting through with little or no wait. It's those looking for reservations May 26 & after that are having the worst delays.

we had "all circuits busy" for the first ten minutes I tried to get through
but once through, then only had about a 10-15 minute wait. this was also this afternoon, cancelled 3 ADR's and made a couple, for the last week of this month

To my way of thinking, there's something seriously wrong with us if we're willing to spend more time on hold to get a ressie than the actual amount of time we'll be in the restaurant.

I called yesterday (Saturday) at 10:30 am and made all my ADR's for NEXT week, (starting 3/15) in about 15 minutes. The only one I couldn't get was Le Cellier. I had 6 dining credits and made 5 ADR's. We got Jiko, Yak & Yeti, Tappan Edo, the Turf Club and Coral Reef. I did take some lunch times (Coral Reef), but mostly it was all what I wanted. No wait time on the phone waiting for a CM. It must have been my lucky day!
