It smells like Disney tonight!!!!!

It's a gorgeous evening in Mississippi!!! I actually got my boys out of bed, and we were sitting on the yard swing talking. Suddenly, this breeze came over us, and for a few seconds, we were at the contemporary waiting for the EWP to start. The smell of the breeze brought it all back so vividly, I almost cried!!!

What is it about a Disney vacation that makes us feel so strongly about it? I have yet to hear anyone waxing nostalgic over their vacation to Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon. Disney truly is a special experience, isn't it???

Yes, we go to Gatlinburg and North Myrtle Beach every year, but there is just no place like WDW.

I don't remember what it was that I smelled, but something today made me think of WDW and made me want to be there. And I was just there last week.

Yes, yes it is. I knew it was many years before I'd ever even gone... but now that I have- I don't think I'll forget a moment of each trip! Especially our first day/evening at MK on Christmas day 2002.

It's funny you mention this tonihgt, Its storming like the dickens here and I was at my aunts house with the back door open, listening to the rain and we were talking about how much it smelled like the Contemporary....odd...I cant wait to get there...can that darn count down clock tick any faster?????

I can totally relate to this.

There is a bath gel at Bath and Body Works that is called "Mango Mandarin" and it is one of my very favorites. Why you ask ??? Because it totally reminds me of the Poly at WDW.

Every morning when we are at The Poly I wake up early and get ready for the day and walk to The Great Ceremonial House and go the Kona Coffee Bar located right next to The Kona Cafe. I buy my DH and I coffee and then take it back to our room. The smell of that body gel sends me there so fast and reminds me of walking out of our building into the warm Florida air early in the morning and looking at Cindy's Castle through the heavy humid air and getting excited about the day to come. I think of this everyday when I am in the shower - some people would call me obsessed - but you know as well as I know that we are not obsessed, we just truly value this wonderful place so much that it almost feels like you are coming home when you visit because you are so comfortable there.

I can hardly wait for Sept. when we are returning!!!
