...my mom and I leave Friday for a trip to Albuquerque and Farmington New Mexico! This will be a "working vacation" to get stuff for my independent study project. DH can't join us until Thursday of next week, though.

And, as usual, I have the "It's the week I leave I don't want to work on anything I want to pack and plan" whatevers. Not blues, not doldrums, not jitters... whatever.

I would also appreciate any PD y'all could spare on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of next week when DH joins us. Y'all remember what happened the last time we tried taking DH to Colorado... this time we're staying down in the lower altitudes (while he's with us, I don't think we'll top 7000 unless it's for about 20 minutes in the car) and aren't doing any *hiking* and minimal walking, but we're all still a little nervous about this. How he handles this trip will basically determine if DH ever goes anywhere not on the coast ever again, and since there's so much of the country I want to show DH that is above sea level, I'm praying he does just fine this trip (I expect him to, but there's always that nagging doubt...)
