Waaaaaa!
I am in PAIN!!!!!
DH convinced me to go to a local after hours clinic to see if I could get a strep test and I guess I am glad that he made me go. I have all the classic symptoms and according to the dr. my throat looked terrible and had pus in it! Ewwww!
The rapid test was actually negative but she felt that it was more than likely a false negative and gave me some antibiotics. Hopefully they will start to clear this up and I will start feeling better soon. Any ideas about how long this takes to clear it up?
DH has the same symptoms so he is thinking about going to the doctor tomorrow. Thankfully DS is not showing any signs but just my luck he will get sick over the weekend.

Both of my kids had it last year. My dd had a lot of the classic symptoms (sore throat, eyes hurting, etc.). My ds didn't have any symptoms at all (he wasn't even complaining of a sore throat). The dr went ahead and did a strep test on him since his sister's was so positive, she wanted to make sure he was ok. I'm glad she ran the test, he had strep too.
