It Is Shorts And Sweatshirt Weather!

Late summer is my favorite time of year. I love cool evenings and mornings, and warm afternoons. I love wearing shorts/capris and a sweatshirt. I love a late summer tan, the slant of the sun, and how all my flowers and plants are so lush and full. I am so glad we got married in late September, because that means we can get away during this glorious month to celebrate.
What about you, do you love September too?

Mmmmmmmmmm...yes! I love when i get up early to bring my horses in from the pasture around 6am and it's still cool enough for a sweatshirt with my boxers (nobody sees me in the boxers mind you...big farm...no neighbors). Then by the afternoon I'm in a tank a capris. Good stuff.

I lived most of my life in MASS and yes, I loved the Fall in New England but I have to say since moving to the OC, there is nothing better than Summer in September!!! Loving this weather HERE!!!

Its still pretty warm here in September... until the end of the month. So October is my fave month for the same reasons you list!

September and October are my favorite months. I love the leaves changing colors, the cooler temperatures, pumpkins, apples/apple cider/apple pie, harvest of the farm crops, having the windows open instead of the air conditioner running, the smell of the last cutting of hay for the season, wearing sweatshirts and sweaters, etc.

And DH and I also got married in late September!!
