It is official.....we are moving to Texas

We found a house and will be putting ours up for sale in a couple days. I guess that makes it a definate thing. I sure am gonna miss being a DLR regular and all my friends that have become a big part of my life. OMG........what will I do with myself. We will probably be out of here on June 14th, little sooner than I thought. I guess I have two more PTN at the hotel before I go.........hope to see everyone before I leave.

The house address is San Antonio, but we are on the outskirts of it. We are close to alittle town called Boerne. Very nice house on alittle over 3/4 acre. The kitchen is mainly green so will go great with my strawberry motif. I am excited about going and getting a new house, the one we live in now is about 1350 sq. ft. and we wanted something bigger. Couldn't afford to move anywhere in California.......so Texas here we come. The house we bought is about 3350 sq.ft. - so now we have alittle more room.

Just because you and Figgy shared a room at the pin event doesn't mean you have to share a state. Are you going to get some of those big old cow horns and mount them to the front of your pin bag? That would be awesome!

......we still are not " run across the street and visit " close, but Houston isn't to far away. We are gonna try and set up some Texas style Pin Roundups, so I don't miss trading to much. I am trying to find all the Texas pintraders I can. I even think I got my husband's new supervisor's wife alittle more addicted than she was. As she says " I am just a collector !" We all know how that goes......wait until I get her going, Muhahahahaha !!!!!

Hey-welcome to Texas! We're just down the road-well, 4 1/2 hours away but in a state as big as Texas, that's "just down the road". DS #1 went to college in San Antonio, and his roommate was from Boerne.

Look on the bright side, with cow horns on the front of your pin bag, you probably would not have a lot of pin people standing in front of you in line to get that new LE.

So I am curious, if you leave town and then come back home would you be Boerne again?

You will like TX. Espically near San Antonio. That is a blast. You will be close to the world's best water park, schlitterbaughn. You will be near the alamo and if you go, make sure you take the ghost tour. It's fun. Also, the river walk is a blast. Have a great time.
