I am leaving tomorrow and just for the heck of it I thought I'd check my national rate and to my surprise it went down another $4.79. 7-day intermediate EA rental for $94.39. The Dole Whips are on me!

I had a reservation thru alamo for a compact car at $99/wk. Just for the heck of it (and after I found my $20 entertainment coupon that I misplaced) I decided to check national. Used the priceless code and entertainment coupon and got a rate of $88.98 for a week on an intermediate car. And I don't have to stand in alamo's line. Yipee! My arrival date is 4/12.

I have a 9 day rental with Nat'l for intermediate. Booked it months ago @ $144 w/ coupon and Priceless. It has gone WAY up since then - just doesn't seem to drop anymore for my dates. I'll keep checking, but I'm sure glad I booked early.

I have some friends who have a 7 day full size ER using priceless and $20 off coupon for a total of $101.xx. That is insanely cheap!

We are at 132.xx for intermediate EA for 9 days. Same codes and coupon.

I definitely think that when you are going has everything to do with it. While everyones rates are going down for April & May, mine for September has actually gone up about $30 and stayed there since I booked it. I keep checking every day though.

Mine went down again! I'm now paying $89 total for 4/30-5/5/05! Sure pays to keep checking those rates. Gotta go cancel a couple of my other ressies....
