It has rained on my yardsale parade!

Today was the day! The stuff is all labelled, washed, pressed, and ready to go...

DH and I were up bright and early hoping it wasnt raining has it had all night...sure enough- pouring!...

So, we've revamped, NOW its next saturday....uugghhh Sundays are not good yardsale days around here..

this is why I'm glad we didnt advertise- they dont give "rain refunds" around here!

I have spent the entire morning cleaning out our garage in preparation for a garage sale next Saturday. Our attic is full of boxes labeled "garage sale"(accumulation of 2 yrs). Everything from beautiful little girls clothing(some with tags still on), to Fisher Price toys, to computer parts and electronics.

The garage was a horrible mess. I've cleaned it out and now have to move all the boxes to the garage and start the organizing and pricing process. I have a huge box of hangers to put the nicer clothes on. Whatever doesn't sell will be immediately taken to the thrift store.

Praying we both have nice sunny days next weekend.

I'm with you - whatever doesnt sell hits either the salvation army, or the landfill...

I also have some kids clothes with tags- I'd ebay em but i just dont have the time/hassle to be dealing with that...

The best one-day yardsale I ever had was in the rain, believe it or not!! We covered and uncovered tables when people came, and moved as much as we could into the garage; we did much better that day that the next day when it didn't rain.
