We've been going to WDW for many, many years. Last Oct we finally decided we could buy into DVC. Today (for the 1st time ever) I got a discount code in the mail for 40% off. Doesn't it just figure!:lmao:

Ha, I got a post card today too, the offer is for $500 gift card for booking a 5night 6 day vacation, the dates were from 3/1-4/16.
I just bought DVC in September, and the last time I got a post card was back in 2003.

Quite a few DVCers get APs. With a 40% off room code and APs already paid for a budget trip might not be that tough to throw together.

I know what you mean. I've NEVER gotten a PIN code, but since we joined DVC in September, I've been getting them all the time. ERG!:lmao:

Right now wecan really only do the one big trip a year. Maybe down the road though.....................

The same thing happened here. I tossed it, but then decided to add a few days to our trip, so I called and got 40% off AKL for three nights! We haven't stayed there before, and we are almost as excited about that as our BLT nights that follow!

Honestly I threw the card away then got it out of the trash to take a second look. My husband is very good about my Disney obsession but I'm going to Disneyland in May and Disneyworld in June. I think going to WDW in March or April might be pushing the ticket.

My mother jyst got 40% off but can't find it. Was it good for a February trip.

I got the 40% off code and used it for a weekend trip vs using points (the dates didn't really work with any of my planned trips except one). Plus we also got the free dining pin code recently and we are using that in August instead of our points. Just because you own DVC doesn't mean you can't take advantage of the extra discounts when they are offered. It just means that you hopefully get alot of vacation time to take some extra trips.

I got the postcard this week for 40% off as well, and I have been a DVC member since Feb 1999. This is the first time I have ever received a code!
