TO PAY OFF my CREDIT CARD

I have 2 credit cards in my name. One I have had for years now and one I just recently got from Sears. Well due to one late payment months ago..my APR went out the roof LOL. So I decided to just pay the whole thing off **this is the card I have had for years** Wrote the check out last night for 800.00 and it feels great. I feel like such a BIG GIRL hee hee. One debt down...

Good for you! I bet that feels great. I carried a balance when I was a single girl, but since marrying we don't. (I always worked for non-profits and even living frugally could never quite make ends meet without the help of my credit card!)

I havent used the credit cards in so long. We have just been through some rough patches and didnt have the money to pay it off...but now we finally can. We still have a car loan, house, my other credit card and a personal loan DH took out a while ago. But one thing at a time

It does feel good. I did the same recently after many years of carrying balances. And now, if I do put anything on it, I pay it off immediately.
