I did like a previous poster suggested, saved a reservation on the WDW site about a week ago and lo and behold, I received a pin code today from Disney Destinations. Needless to say, I called immediately to book our trip in October. Staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Love that place!! Also saved over $1,000 with this code. I am a happy camper.

LOL, I was just about to post the same thing. I did the trick last week and received the code today! Woot!

Now to plan!

What type of discount did you get? Was it a package or room only? I was wondering because I booked the room only discount deal that is on their website now-did you get a better discount than that?

The PIN that is going out is 20% off Values/30% off mods/40% off Deluxe resorts. The difference between the discount deal on the website and the PIN is that the current discount available to the general public is available until the begining of June. The PIN covers most dates throughout 2010.:)

that's great!

No luck here, though... have been saving trips via three different email accounts and so far nothing. Have filled out the survey form at the end, too - and nothing!
have a trip in July, September AND November I want to book - but desperately need a code. ugh!

so if you get a pin is it only good on 1 ressie? We will be having 4 seperate rooms with 4 seperate reservations....we are going with my parents and siblings......It would be great if we could all use the same pin!

Usually with a PIN you can book up to 3 rooms with the offer.

AWSOME, Thanks DisneyFan!!

You're welcome. Make sure you tell them it's a grand gathering. We've never had over 8 so haven't done so, but there are some special activities for grand gatherings. For food, it might be worth it if eating at quite a few TS to purchase an AP and Tables in Wonderland card for 20% off most TS. One TIW card is good for up to 10 people to get the discount, just an idea to save on food somewhat. One thing with that card though, you will have to pay with 1 bill (the cardholder must be present as well)

As far as the food goes we already decided to go with the DDP. When we were there in 2008 with just our kids 6 and 2.5 at the time we almost went broke just eating counter service for 10 days! We were never able to to a TS so we just went ahead and decided DDP was best for us!

I can't figure out how to save a reservation. Can some one help me out? :confused3

When you are on the Walt Disney World website, and you are pricing out different vacation packages, at the very bottom of the screen (all the way down, past the dining options, transportation, etc) there is a button that you can click that says "save my vacation". After you click on that you should see the resort/package come up on the left hand side. It doesn' give you this option if you are looking at vacation packages under the 'special promotions' area. Does that help?
